can't see him coming back anytime soon to ESO as he will need time to put his plans in place. But maybe in another elder scrolls he may.

Where is there "other" option? I don't have a clue. All I know is, I rather have someone else than him. With so many deadric gods, let others have the lime light as well. Maybe I rushed though it, but when I fought him, I wasn't that impressed in the end.

Not my quote but I love this saying

I know someone named Malcolm McDowell voiced him but I had no idea it was well the same guy that has been in so many movies even being the main villain in star trek generations. Only just realised this and that styles guy in the mentalist. Bethesda and Zenimax sure knows how to get some famous people into their game. Anyways, would like to see other daedra realms. As well, maybe even the daedric war. Where we will have to choose sides. The events of Summerset could be the start of this.

I'd like to see him come back just because I like his voice. It must be all that subliminal brainwashing from the 10 million dolmens I've done.

Molag Bal should intervene again I think. Also, dolmens need an overhaul. Maybe he should align with Dagon and descend down dolmens if they are destroyed by more than 20 people.

Maybe he will step in for guest appearances but I doubt he will show up again for storyline progression. For any MMO you have to keep pushing forward to new story elements to keep people playing or returning to play. He has been smashed, time to move on to new problems to solve in ESO.

Also like others have said. There is that huge problem getting the original voice actors to return to voice the characters. There was an issue at release with Varen Aquilarios. They changed part of the starting quest and added in new voice lines for the character and got a guy who "closely' resembled the original voice of Michael Gambon to speak the lines but you could obviously tell it was someone different. A little cringy but what can you do?
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

Been there, done that... its way more likely all the other daedric princes will take turns now.

Of course, I also would -love- to see more non-daedric troubles.
    As I posted once before:
Eh... I expect they will all take turns, and keep taking turns. Until the dragonfires are relit by Talos, they can all come and mess with Nirn as they please after all...

Me, I would be more interesting in seeing some stories about non-daedric troubles!
    • What are the Imperials up to, over in Nibenay where Abner Tharn likely went to, or in colovia; possibly even in Falkreath hold where there could even be a storyline about protecting a last scion of allesias bloodline to eventually become bring forth a true dragonborn in three or so centuries?
    • How's the rift between crowns and forebears working out in the Alik'r, will they band together, or will the troubles deepen as time goes by? And who might want to take advantage of that?
    • Who is the next one scheming in the Dominion, certainly some altmer still favor ideas of high elf supremacy and might be thinking Estre had the right idea, just was too careless in her scheming?
    • What are the Reachmen gonna do next, will there be a great leader arising from their recent defeats or are they gonne lick their wounds and look for easier thargets then the three alliances - perhaps those parts of western skyrim that did not join with the Pact? But if something happened there... would the pact nords just let it happen, or help their western cousins?
    • What are the remnants of the worm cult up to these days - their big planemeld plot might have been foiled, and their midboss leader gone, but that does not mean someone else won't get the idea to become the next master of worms and cook up another dastardly scheme, right?
    • Also, in times of troubles like these, there will always be some people who think it is just the right amount of confusion to try their own next scheme for world domination (narf!), and oogle the closest throne thinking how their own rear would fit is all too well...
    • How about the Telvanni, and their slavery customs, might that end up in some trouble for the pact down the road as other dunmer houses might be forced to pick sides between traditions and treaties?
    • Is these few coastal raids all the trouble the Maormer can work up towards, or are those just probing attacks to gauge the time for a major attempt to finally show those uppety altmer who the true heirs to aldmeris really are?
    • And what about the three banners war entirely, between the covenent taking a hit with the events in orsinium, and the tenative temporary alliance at the end of the mainstory, will the fighting in Cyrodil slow down, or perhaps intensify and gain new facets?
    • ...and there is -always- the chance of some lost city being rediscovered and opened for exploration... we had dwemer-ish stuff already with CC, but what about a huge ayleid, chimer or dragon priest city/ruin/necropolis ruin full of treasure, undead and other difficulties, where placers might fight their way through following some story to uncover secrets of the past before they threaten the present?
    • Also, there could always be oblivion stuff without using the same old "daedric prince is threatening tamriel" shtick - how about the other way 'round, with tamriel forces invading an prince-abandoned daedric demiplane (battlespire?), fighting their way through it floor by floor...?
    • And what about the Akaviri, we know from the lore that survivors from the invasion ten years before ESO made their way to Rimmen, and will grow a powerbase of their own there (only to eventually make a failed attempt at the ruby throne sometime in the coming centuries)

He already "comes back" every time you roll a fresh character. And several of mine haven't bothered with the whole of the main quest, as they have other axes to grind.

There's a good case for keeping any additional content independent, so a player can do it in any order, without having "story" issues.

Kinda Yes and No with this.....Yes I do think we will come across him again in some form or another in later content....but not like we have done already....we have defeated him and will take along time to recover...so wont be for ages...plus we have other princes to fight (I've got a list Zos....let me at them!)

.....but a big ball of floating energy that he speaks through......maybe...we have dealt with other deadric princes but not directly...

Fighting another prince directly like we did with Molag Bal would be ace!

I think its pretty clear that at the end of the main quest he was weakened to the point of not being a threat for a long time to come, which of course does not mean he cant influence other Daedric princes to do his bidding

I think he was mainly just false BBG to set up the current "plot" that is arcing through the DLCs. I doubt they'll bring him back in a significant capacity.

....those Dolmen anchors keep dropping, though, so who knows?

    I hope we do.
thats been the problem with all of the updates ESO has had, its had no followup and stories like the main molag bal ones seems to end on a cliff hanger...
The game needs to evolve properly and progress with the original narrative.
I think though as the game had a rocky start and had to go f2p it meant we got naff DLC's.
I would love to have seen what could of been and where the original ideas would have gone if the money was there to start with.

I hope the next big update is something that can touch more on the original main quest and do a better job of tying our hero to the other zones and the Nine Divines and the Daedric Princes

EDIT: i would also love to see imperial city become a real zone now with a working propper pvp arena where players can place bets etc just as the imperial city should be.
This is what i mean about the game needs to evolve, follow those stories through.

Molag Balls learnt the lesson the hard way, don´t mess with the Vestige. Now should stay home for a while. It´s not like his minions in IC and the rest of Tamriel are going anywhere, so his presence is still noted.

Let's hope not. He's the least interesting of the Daedric Princes and, as portrayed in ESO, is purely a mustache twirling dime store villain. He'll be with us forever thanks to the dolmens which continue to drop anchors which makes NO SENSE after the point you've beaten the Main Story quests. That's more than enough Molly Balls for me.

He made a quitting thread on the forums, but it was closed due to policy - but also spoilers. The best spoiler hinted that quitting was only a ruse, he still means to carry out scheme 34778-B/6 if the next one fails. Just a matter of when.

The dialogue you get at dolmens after finishing the main quest indicates that he still has plans for you and considers you his pawn. It might be a while before we see any of that actually happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if another scheme comes along, whether it involves Molag Bal in person or not.
