I can’t play on my pc anymore but want to come back to the game. Really want to start fresh on PS4 and just go through the game at my own pace. How are server populations on PS4 NA. And is it too late to start the journey?

✭Never too late, I will say a lot of people (including myself) are taking a break. This is due to multiple reasons whether they be balance related, customer services, or just general gameplay quality. But if you feel like you want play then I highly recommend for you to just pop onto the game and give it a shot. You’ll never know if PS4 has what your looking for unless you find out for yourself.PvP needs more love.3 -

I dont know about that but PC NA is very very healthy. You have to go out of your way to be alone in overland content somewhere. BGS have less than 60 second queues all but in the dead of night. Tank and Heals are less than 60 seconds all but dead of night for dungeons. DPS is usually less than 20 minute queues. Dolmens are pretty busy, Traders are fairly well stocked and competition is high.
PC NA seems to have more people on it now than it did at this time last year despite how annoying this patch has been for everyone.1 -

Anecdotally from people I play with on PC NA who came from console, they say PC is overall more populated but PVP is more popular on console whereas PVE (especially endgame) is more popular on PC. This is mostly xbox transfer players though.1 -

vovus69✭✭✭✭it is not that bad, but sometimes it is very boring. Be prepared to make a large breaks. I am playing may be 4-5 months per year only when they have an events, or there is new content.
Be warned, they are doing everything to make players weaker while keeping all one shot kill dynamics in the game. So, if you don't want to be really annoyed by this creeping slowness and weakness and will find some stuff to do - you are welcome. Blackmoon777✭✭✭i stoped playing about 1 year ago , this game go wrong way , now it is only cash grab, u pay for inventory/crafting space (aka premium account) you pay for DLCs (aka chapters) and u pay for gambling (aka crown crates) , and if u somehow have fun playing ESO just w8 for nerf hammer , from the begining there was no buffs/balancing only nerfs

✭Coming from Xbox eu to pc eu there was a noticeable increase in players and also a much more noticeable stream of new players/lower CP players than on Xbox.
In terms of the games health, whilst it isn’t a full view the number of logged players on steam has steadily increased over the years and is fairly steady so I’d say it’s doing pretty good.0 -

Yeah it's a bad way of marketing but maybe they don't need it? Why waste time and money on advertising when your population grows anyway? It's not that I am defending them but it's other point of view.Say no to Toxic Casuals!

"Riot Games" I can't laugh any louder.
There is something like "too much advertising". If you advertise too much, you flood your game with grasshoppers and this will ultimately lead to pandering to those. It alienates your core playerbase and your game will end up a dead husk after a year or two.2 -

The shame comes when it could actually be sooo much better with better management.
That being said, yes the game is alive and kickin. But don't be fooled by emptier cities than you were used to, because there are a lot of new zones now, not to mention player housing, and a lot of people spread out all over the place.1 -

Lol, using YouTube as a means to judge a games population/popularity. Gets funnier every time I hear it. Game is super populated on ps4NA. The only thing that is dead/dying is cyro. If you can play without cp BG's will give you all the pvp you can handle without all the bs that comes with cyro.There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man, true nobility is being superior to your former self

lol no one on a PC ever said console is better... unless they are running 8 year old or older hardware. My friend just swapped from the newest console version and said OMG no wonder you like PC so much, the visuals even on medium settings are far superior.
Having said that all i hear about PS4 is that its dead or dying... 0
