Reintroduce Original Redguard and Orc Motifs

It has been some time since these motifs were changed for whatever reason(s) were claimed. Since the change, many costumes and motifs have been introduced but none of the other motifs (seem to) have been altered. Having read over some of the older posts it seems the general consensus was these changes were not welcomed by the majority of the playerbase. Granted, that could be argued but it is my personal impression.

My main is a Redguard and has been for some time. It would be wonderful to see not only the Redguard but the old Orc motifs introduced back into the game. The new motifs could remain, of course, and the older motifs given a new motif designation. I wouldn't even mind seeing the old motifs reintroduced as costumes. At least I would have the option to purchase some, if not all, of the costume options. The latter option would be a decent compromise as the effort put into reintroducing these options could yield a decent financial benefit to the company.

I feel like now is the best time to bring this topic back into consideration when considering the new benefits being introduced to subscribers.

Elf race should disappear like dwemer too. Need one good event where every other races doing genocide against elfs and burning their history, village, town, chopping down that big fake tree. Furthermore every player with elf race should reincarnate then become orcs totally forgets their past and living good orc life.

Yeah, don't miss it. We have enough raunch simulator motifs in the roster now anyway.

I don't miss the boobie window. If you want it, get Grim Harlequin next year. Or ask someone to craft you GH chest.

I am personally not interested in the bumpy window. I am more interested in the style and cosmetic detail, buckles and so on.
But I certainly understand that not everyone was thrilled about the old styles or they might prefer the style go in completely different direction.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the original visuals looked nice. They just did not looke like "practical armor"... but then, the same can be said about many costumes, right?

So it would make -perfect- sense to bring something along those lines back as costume, would it not? Or as "civilian clothing", which would be interesting to add to the outfit system anyhow, I mean, we -do- already have the prisoner visuals for it, so why not let people deconstruct those stealable "civilian clothing" pieces for a chance to add that look to the outfit system as well? And while they're at it, throw in the old orsimer and redguard looks as bonus...

In some cultures leaving a vital spot unprotected could be seen as a sign of bravery, so I always figured that's what was probably going on there.

Having said that, I actually prefer the current version of the orc armour, but only by a little.

The redguard on the other hand... The original redguard motif was just more swashbuckling than the current version. I'd definitely like it to be reintroduced as an alternate choice.

Also, the only reason i'm not using the Nord heavy helm is because of the black spots which they added where the eyes are. Annoying.

Yes when i returned after four years i was disgusted on how far Zos had fallen to the SJW trend.

While this is so wrong. There are plenty of options that show some cleavage. The redguard vests looked so awesome before.

I like the current Orc motif so much more than the old one. So I don’t see the problem.

The Redguard one needs work, I can’t stand t-shirt sleeves on armor. The first version looks like rags, the second version looks “modern” in a bad way. Like a wrap around hospital shirt and a leather bib. So they need to revisit that from scratch.

Funny you should say that, as I thought to myself earlier on : "It's really cool how far this game has come in terms of representation compared to its competition" as I helped a Bosmer dude find flower seeds for his dying Bosmer dude.

Guess I'm one of those people who are really happy that TES saga - which to be fair has always felt less bothersome even when I first discovered it through morrowing - has embraced the "SJW" mindset. Which has actually nothing to do with war and everything to do with basic social progress
