Do you think achievement points should be displayable for other players to see?

I feel like being able to display achievement points would be a fun idea maybe have it displayed along with player name plates like titles are.
Here's how i see it all in game achievements have values associated with them and they contribute to a grand total so why not have the option to display them? Some players really like achievement hunting so it would be cool to show everyone your hard work.
only issue i would see is other players belittling others for there lack of achievement points or players leaving pug groups because someone does not have as many achievement points but i don't see hardly anyone boasting about there alliance rank that everyone can see so maybe that is a non issue.
If people don't like the idea of achievement points being displayable maybe make it to where it's a toggle on or off option or only available for friends to see.

I don't want mine showing and don't care about looking at others. That said, I have no problem with an option to show some sort of achievement indicator for players who want that.

Slightly related (showing info to other players), I don't use / don't care for the titles available as to me as my character is very unpretentious and doesn't care for titles that basically say, 'Gee, look how cool I am!' I'd love to see three very simple additional titles to choose from: Healer, Tank, Damage Dealer. Not for showing off but to simply clarify/display one's role if desired. I'd find that much more helpful to see than 'Mudcrab Slayer' or such. Lol.

I don't think its the achievement points we're measuring here, so much as how much someone is overcompensating for something.

Practically, you'd have to make achievement points account wide to do this, which raises a host of other issues.

And it would still be about showing off.

(And no one brags about alliance rank because you get that through earning AP, not necessarily for your skill at PVP. Kills are the main bragging rights in PVP, not alliance rank.)

Elitists will always find a way to discriminate against new players or players that are not as skilled as them, so it's really a non issue.
Would it give them something more to use to discriminate players for? sure, but that's where the toggle on off option comes into play you can CHOOSE if you want to display achievement points.

Yes and no.

There is no actual reason for showing such information. It does not even compare to the information that is displayed as base information available to be seen by all.

There is no justification for Zos to add this and have it take up room on anyone's screen. Wanting to display it is not a very significant reason.

Personally I think, Role titles would be interesting titles like combat medic or something that indicates a sytle of gameplay.

This makes more sense as it would be tied to specific achievements as we currently have tittles setup. Adding some more specific titles like this could be nice and we already show the title we like the most.

Consoles have this feature and no one cares.

Titles such as 'Flawless Conqueror' say a lot more about skill and experience than any point system could convey.

Or just alts, I made an new character just for tanking.
Has not done much else on him so not much achievements points. My Stamsorc main on the other hand has lots but since swapping from magic to stamina after murkmire I don't have an good rotation yet.

Might give myself and others a reason to actually care about achievements. Right now I just get skins/personalities and never look at the achievement tab again.

This sort of thing is only really useful as a curiosity and only with account wide achievements, of which ESO has none. I'm not against the idea perse. It's just that if someone hops on an alt they'd pretty much look like a noob as far as their achievements are concerned. Kinda like how that level 37 Redguard you see running around just might be someone who is really cp800.

I don't know where people are getting this account wide thing but i was thinking more in the realm of per character like titles and alliance rank are.
So you would have per character displayable achievement points.
Not asking for account wide because then the whole system would need to be re worked and that is just not practical.
