Please don't laugh at me,haha ,thanks to the recent event,I have just leveled another DK, it is a dunmmer one, while i already have a imperial DK.
One for tank and one for DPS, I think it is a perfect deployment , but i was “educated” by someones in game , it is like "hey you should not do that, races effect only end-game contents ,be a nice man and give your love to all your toons, don't be played by the game.”
"i run a nord magisor ,i know it is not the optimized choice, but i love my toon and he dose decent dps"

:/:/:/ so, just wanna know, play in a utilitarian style is againt the ESO XXXXX correctness?? :'(

Unless that other player is your ESO sugar daddy, play the game your way. Are you hurting anyone else? No. You will branch out when YOU are interested in doing so.

My main toon WAS a tall and foxy redhead - now she has been gamma-irradiated and has green skin and black hair. 3 other characters I only use for writs. 3 pvp dps, 1 for each faction
    1 pvp heal
2 tank, 1 for trial 1 for dungeon
2 heal, 1 for trial 1 for dungeon (also is a stam healer)
2 dps, 1 for trial 1 for dungeon (also is a pet sorc)

Ditto, almost. I couldn't stand a stamsorc, so now I have two mags. Different races.... but anyway, I have a lot of girls, and each class has 3....

OP, don't let it bother you. There are as many right ways to play this game (or any TES game) as there are players in the world.

I have 7 toons, 3 of them are DKs. My DKs are a tank, a dps/pvp, and PvE stamina. I don't understand the problem. There are people with the max 15 toons. You're going to have several of the same class my default.

    Play your way. Have fun.

I create characters as mules and crafting alts, and level up their riding skills, long before I expect to activate them for serious play. Sometimes I guess well what I'll want, sometimes not. Anyhow, what I've wound up with are:
    • Breton sorcerer -- my original main, and also my only non-templar who's done a DLC dungeon.
    • Altmer sorcerer -- my character with the highest Undaunted rank.
    • Altmer sorcerer #2 -- so far I haven't found a good reason for two Altmer sorcerers. Oh well. But I've actually done a bunch of pledges with him when my main Altmer sorcerer didn't need that particular skill point or pledge. I think he has the 4th or 5th highest Undaunted rank among my characters.
    • Breton templar -- my only character who has done a vet DLC dungeon.
    • Breton templar #2 -- has healed some vet HMs. Not very useful (mule/crafting of course aside) unless my main templar is tapped out for random dungeon/skill point/pledge. Race was chosen in part check out a specific look.
    • Breton templar #3 -- much like #2. Race was chosen so she could look like my main LOTRO character.
    • Bosmer stamblade -- one case when advance planning worked perfectly. He was created before there was a Justice system, and turned out to be an ideal thief.
    • Dunmer magblade -- probably not the ideal race for her, but I wanted some variety. She was actually meant to be an "evil criminal", but I decided one thief was plenty. Then I played her for a while when magblades were BiS.
    • Breton magblade -- filled the 15th slot. Will level to max in one of the events this year. Would be more important if magblades had stayed OP.
    • Redguard DK -- race chosen to test out a look. DKs have never clicked for me, however, so I haven't played her except to level her.
    • Imperial DK -- race chosen to optimize health for possible future tanking. My only remaining under-max character other than the aforementioned magblade.
    • Dunmer DK -- to test out magicka DK. I just finished leveling him a few days ago. I still feel blah about the spec.
    • Altmer Warden -- didn't feel like an ideal choice, but now in Murkmire I'm considering switching to Warden as a principal DPS spec.
    • Imperial Warden -- meant as a potential tank.
    • Argonian Warden -- recently created and leveled. He could become a healer or tank or heal/tank hybrid or whatever.

I don't know yet how seriously I'll play either (or both or neither) of the Altmer and Argonian wardens.

The only differences, really, are race and costume.

I have 2 Templars too, one is a magicka healer and one is a stamina... something. I don’t know yet.

I know of people with 10 Sorcs.

    1 is a healer

And I tried one as a tank once upon a time too but I don't really PvE anymore.

Actually no it's not weird at all. I've thought many times about how it would be great if I could just clone a character so I could have one StamSorc and one MagSorc, so I can experience both playstyles without having to spend so much gold and time doing a respec.

I have multiple templars — don’t even know how many. Lots. All magicka. This includes my main who has the most skill pts, achievements and experience.

Almost as many wardens, some magicka, some stam. My main on my second account.

About 5 sorcs. Only one of them runs stamina.

4 nightblades, only one of which is stam.

3 DKs, my least favorite class. 1 magicka, 1 stamina, and 1 who was created in 2014 but has never been leveled above the mid-teens.

The OP knows how to roll out the red carpet for “play however you want”.

I have three (3) Dragonknights as well.

One of those DKs I was playing just tonight.

(Imperial, though, apologies for taking a meta race for that role.)

I have 3 DK's - one Dunmer full-on flame Mage, one dunmer hybrid melee-brawler fire-themed multi-proc-set quester, one Argonian stam poison knight. They all play very differently from one another and they're all great fun.

I also have 6 NB's. 2 of them are almost identical sneaky snipers that I use in Cydoriil, because 2 lots of campaign rewards are better than one. The other 4 are very different - a thief, a high speed stabby acrobat, a PvP bomb blade, and a heavy duty Argonian siphoner that I use for soloing group content.

I have a Breton Stamplar that uses only one Templar skill (and that's Repentance), and a Dunmer Stamplar than uses no Templar skills. The characters are both knock-about weapon skill builds and great fun to play, so who cares about meta.

The only Class of which I have only one character is Warden, and that is soon to change.

Play the way you want to play. Only you can decide what is the right way to play for yourself. For me the most important factor in a character build is always how much fun it is to play.

Trust me, out of 15 characters, about 4/5 of those are nightblades (because I love the class) and if anyone questions it, I politely tell them that it's because that's how I play the game.
