Seems like Incapacitating strike became undodgiable with this update

Not really though. It is still dodgeable all the same.

The sound warning appears before the strike, so if you dodge on the sound warning, you get the dmg

They changed the way dodge roll works this patch you have to play more reactively now. Best bet is to duel a NB and get use to the new timing.

The sound warning appears before the strike, so if you dodge on the sound warning, you get the dmg

The sound warning isn’t more than a second before the damage, the window for dodging is 1 second

Thus, just as dodgeable as before. This way you simply don’t have the option to dodge 2-3 seconds before and still dodge it

The sound warning never really worked for this skill. You have to guess when the nb uses incap and not dodge when you hear the sound warning.

The sound happens in the same time as the strike. Previously, higher dodge window allowed players to dodge it regardless of when you started the dodge. Now, you have guess when the NB is going to drop Incap and dodge pre-emptively.

It's definitely still dodgeable but will take some time to get used to the new dodge roll window. Since Monday there have been times when I thought it should have been dodged but it wasn't, and vice versa. Overall it's harder to avoid now.

If the caster block cancels Incap, it's impossible to dodge with just reaction. You can still try to predict though.

Considering dodge roll changes are supposed to only affect projectiles this either a l2p issue or a bug.

So much misinformation in this thread lol. There is no such thing as a "sound warning" for incap.

Incap is an instant-cast skill. It may seem like the sound and animation play for ~0.6s before the damage is dealt, but that's simply because the skill has a lengthy animation that people often don't bother to cancel.

In reality, the skill hits your target as soon as your button-press is registered, as far as the server is concerned. This asynchrony between visuals and effect is the reason why people often swear that incap "hit them in the middle of a dodgeroll".

It didn't. You may roll after you hear/see the incap animation, but in reality the skill had already hit you, and your client will only update this once the incap animation has finished, i.e in the middle of your dodgeroll.

Incap is instant, plain and simple. It can be dodged and blocked, but you have to do so pre-emptively. No such thing as reacting to the sound/animation.
