Looking to Get back into ESO

Greetings Everyone

I'm looking to possibly get back into ESO, I have played previously on and off but not for some time now and looking to maybe pick it back up again.
I have just moved away from WOW as BFA really doesn't appeal to me and so I'm looking to pick ESO up and spend a lot more time with the game. Now I'm interested to see what guilds are out there and how many people are active in the game. ideally id like to find a smaller guild where people get to know each other and become gaming friends, I have made friends in wow and been part of excellent small guild but stuff and RL happen, so I know how a lot things work within these guilds, about me I'm and older player 38 to be precise so in looking for a guild and players that fit around this also, I am online most evenings and weekend evenings daytime I'm at work and weekend days get stuff done. I will most likely have to get to grips with the game again but wont take to long.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and hopefully I will be suited to a guild in due course.

    As said above, an interesting time and probably not the best time, as for active players, well if you listen to the bloat blurted out by ZoS 11 million active accounts.

    I personally just quit, because of nobody I knew is playing anymore, but if youre into solo action, sure, go ahead, relax, enjoy.
    My suggestion: Don't.

    Out of curiosity: why the advise against returning to ESO?

    I recently returned myself (after an absense of roughly 1,5 year) and am having a decent good time so far. Have to say, i started a fresh char and am just 'exploring' the world on her a bit, solo - not done any dungeons or other groupplay yet.

    So yeah, honestly would like to know what's behind more than 1 ppl advising against...

    Because it's now harder to complete the vet hardmode stuff without a solid team... yeah the 1% of stuff just got a little harder so don't play the 99% of stuff that's still enjoyable ;)

    OP You'll find guilds in the recruitment section, also around the starter zones people post all the time.

    Ah, so i'm 100% not worried then ^^ I'm really enjoying the game (again).. and if i'd ever get to the vet stuff (again) i'd reckon it a pre it being harder without a good team =]
