So, by looking on the forum for about 5 second I see there is a bit of a problem this patch with enchants. Granted I do not yet have this lovely patch to play but with further research on the forum and patch notes it would been that one of or both of below are the issuse. Resulting in high up time of enchants.

All Weapon Enchantments now correctly proc 100% of the time when not on cooldown when any Light Attack, Heavy Attack, or weapon ability deals damage.

When Dual Wielding, casting a weapon ability can now proc the Weapon Enchantment of either weapon. The system will favor proccing a Weapon Enchantment that is not on cooldown.

So lets nerf those ^

And NOT NERF

Torug's
Enchants
Infused
Prior to murkimire enchant cooldowns
[Edit] The pre murkimire % chance for enchants to proc

nerfing those ^ will cause other issuse in game like to end game tanks who run torugs infused with reduced resist enchant to lower boss resist. Or to end game players running infused back bar with a weapon damage enchant.

Thank you,

Concerned sorc who likes my tanks wearing tourgs and likes having 452 spell damage for the first 5 seconds of every rotation.

P.S.

unnerf my shields and overload -_- *throws mudball*

P.S.S

And boundless and the magden wings (dont even have a warden but god) *throws mudball again*

The enchants and DW isn’t the problem. The problem is how enchants are proc,d and it’s not mutually exclusive to DW. They just need to revert the change because enchants were fine prior to the “fix”

Not really, DW has always had a big advantage due to having two enchants. It's just that only now people are noticing because the recent changes magnified the role of enchants.

Enchants should give half value per 1h weapon, just like how most traits and TB&B give half value. Look at sharpened or the sword TB&B bonus: the intention is that if you use two weapons of these types then it adds up to one 2h weapon. However some bonuses we're incorrectly implemented and the players have jumped on that to get more power: infused gives full value and nirn give full value, but they should be changed to give half. Similarly, enchants should give half.

Now, if we want to get into impact on sword & board, or above change causing DW to not be able to run a full strength enchant, then those issues can be handled as a fine-tuning.

Champion points are the root of so much power creep. I hope Zeni gives a long, hard look into them before doing more ham fisted balance changes.

While I hate champion points, I wouldn't say they are the root of all power creep. They are one of the biggest contributors to power creep, but above all else they merely exaggerate issues with balance that already exist

But yeah, they definitely suck and need to be removed. All CP10+ gear should just be leveled down to 50 and that should be the hard cap for the game.

They could just revert the changes or just have 1 enhancement or poison per bar

Agreed. Enchanting is something I see sorcerers doing. Therefore, sorcs need to be nerfed. Only option at this point.

Damn right.. I'm one of the crazy fools who didn't realise at the start that having a different character with a different craft skill was a bad thing... Oddly, my Magsorc is my enchanter!

It seems just removing the chance to proc on every DOT tick (only the first, direct damage, can proc it) would tone it down enough so it would be a change, not a debacle. I don't know how hard it would be for them to make such a small adjustment.

I'll just keep my snark about what they're likely to do instead to myself this time around.
