This addon has been abandoned and removed from ESOUI. It no longer works at all after update.
Is there anyone out there that could write a program that would show your Combat Pets(s) there health. I am sure many people would be grateful.

    I want to know that because I don't want to find out that my pets are out of health when they die.
    It lets me know when they are getting low on health.
    It only takes up a very small poriton of my screen, at the bottom.

    Yes, I've been missing it terribly :(
    PC/EU - PVE 2H stam orc petsorc (meta, what meta?) ww - terrible dps - mediocre player - fun times - free ww bites to whomever asks so don't be shy if interested

    Just change 100024 to 100025 in line 5 of the ScootworksPetHealth.lua and in the ScootworksPetHealth.txt file. After that it will work again. Both can be done with NotePad (or NotePad++, if you want a specific tool for that).

    The Pet Health addon by Scootworks/Goobsnake is easily modified to include the other classes, beyond warden and sorcerer. Open the PetHealth.lua file, found in the addon directory. At the very top of the file is a section that identifies the classes that the addon should load for. The original file only includes classes 2 & 4, the sorcerer and warden. Edit the file to include the other classes:

    [1] = true, -- Dragonknight
    [2] = true, -- Sorcerer
    [3] = true, -- Nightblade
    [4] = true, -- Warden
    [5] = true, -- Necromancer
    [6] = true, -- Templar

    Unfortunately, the Archanist doesn't seem to work, probably due to the ClassID number being wrong. I discovered these number settings through trial and error, but have not discovered the correct number for the archanist class. I have tried 0, 7,8,and 9 without seeing the addon load. I am not a proficient coder, so am not able to modify the code to determine the correct number.
    I ALWAYS believe I know the answer. Turns out I rarely understand the question.

    Player since BETA (February 2014) and have the monkey to prove it. Level 50 in all classes and have mastered all normal skill lines. Still working on mastering all subclassed skill lines.

    You can try this version here, it should add pets for all classes (if you use pets via subclassing e.g.)
    and also provides a new setting to exclude some veteran dungeon zoneIds to show the pets again (default is Maelstrom Arena) and you can add other zoneIds manually.

    Get zoneId
    To get the current zoneId type/copy&paste to chat:
    /script d(GetZoneId(GetUnitZoneIndex("player")))

    But If I try to copy and paste the code from your 2nd last comment it always misses some text :-(
    (Edit: Maybe due to my IDE automatically transferring the -- lines into comments and thus making it e.g. -- Combat -- local function -> 1 comment line).
    You really should provide the whole file, ready to download, as this is not working properly.
    I marked all and it still removes some functions lines etc.
    At least add the code in a code wrapper? So one can easily copy & paste it.

    Edit: And it seems you have removed the companion code from the file, so companions aren't shown anymore with your version?

    And somehow your code looks wrong too:
    window = {}
    ...

    Here you do assign window as 1 value and not as table emntry with

    And below you use window[i-1] then?
    window:SetAnchor(TOP, window[i-1], BOTTOM, 0, 2)
    

    That won't work at all as you had overwritten window before with that line window, ctrl = AddControl(base, CT_BACKDROP, 5)
    AddControl returns 1 single control and not table, so indexing this via control[i-1] will raise errors or silently fail ...


    Correct code would be something like
    for i=1,7 do
    			-- frame
    			window[i], ctrl = AddControl(base, CT_BACKDROP, 5)
    
    and then always use window and not only window

    That's all accross the code lines now and makes no sense. I wonder how that was working for you :#
