If you update Cyrodiil with next DLC you should update Imperial City too

Cyrodiil is a PvP zone but so is Imperial City. So if you decide to make any updates to Cyrodiil, in my opinion Imperial City should be included in some way as well.

What do you guys think about that?

    IC needs a rework and overhaul no doubt about it. Bother the sewers and the city above are fun maps, and I've had some of my best fights ever in them. I hope one day they come up with a solid way to breath new life into the old girl.

    However, I do get wanting to treat it separately from Cyrodiil as they are different animals. To wit I would suggest they start by separating its population from Cyrodiil completely and allow people to queue or fast travel to th bases.

    I actually rather them WAIT zos has a bad reputation trying to update things and messing it up in the process, they need to take their time on actually tweaking what they update, they say they do on their private test servers, but you can see clear as day, if that were true we wouldn't be having 4 year old issues with pvp.

    Implying the city isn't already empty.
    Also, removing the flags doesn't mean those handful of people in IC will instantly go away, so the AP is still there. It'll only make people respawn quicker now that you can respawn at the district you died in since no alliance controls districts and respawning isn't blocked off anymore, like when IC was released.

    The two are not really related. They are two different zones and as such there is no reason that one must be updated if the other is updated.

    A couple of suggestions from a person that plays alot on imperial city, both farming and pvping:

    1) Remove the doors, make it a one instance map. No more loading screens between districts, not sure about sewers.

    2) make the sewers bosses work like the districts, giving 14k telvar at maximum bonus and having unique mechanics.

    3) Put imperial city in the base game.
    If is not too much, let players get inside cirodill from the bridges, and make the ic districts open from cirodill. One instanced world, no loading and no doors. Maybe theses bridges could be destroyable like new ones and with a faction base nearby.

    4) Put one wayshrine at imperial city faction base, allowing players to fast travel from cirodill.

    4) remove emperor buffs inside imperial city.

    5) make bosses accumulate telvar bonus from killing players. Maybe equivalent of half of tel var they got from players death, but make they became even more stronger (enraged) at more tell var they accumulate (put some kind of cap here, maybe like 10k tell var bonus).

    6) once every two hours make molag Bal respawn at one of the districts (or other kind of zone boss with power equivalent of dlc trial bosses), so when he respawn the PvP is disabled in 60m radius and whoever is in the in imperial zone will receive a pop-up warning to go help at the boss. Three factions fighting against it and having a big reward. After the fight player will have 60s to get away and PvP enable again.

    That's what I could think while eating my bigmac....

    -Remove Permanent loading screens in Cyrodiil

    -Remove the changes to the Districts in Imperial City

    -Remove all changes made to the campaigns with Champion Points

    Bring Imperial City back to its glory days.

    There is no reason to go to IC. It is boring. Now that we have the armor sets from there and the 150 - 160 mats are plentiful, IC has lost all the magic. Not even double Tel var was enough to go there.

    I love the imperial city sewers. It reminds me of my dragon's dogma days.
