Please stop with "killing blow" achievements

Isn't an achievement when you actually achieve something? Sounds like people want everything for free like always SMH.

I have a character that I can, only with gear change in an add-on that takes one click (same cp same attributes), play tank (did vMoS yesterday), DD 35k sloppy DPS, and PvP getting all the kills I want and need.

PvP are one thing, tanking/healing is another, hence different achievements. So no, it's not the achievement who's the problem here, it's you not adapting.

In game achievements mean jack ish. Some random notifications that you did something with data pixels. Firmly reject such notions with your mind since they don't actually exist apart from your mind anyway.

For some people gaining achievements are the part of the game they enjoy. If we apply your logic we should all quit playing any game ever because pixels.

That's incorrect. Using the logic I presented, you should apply the concept only to aspects of the game which overly annoy you. Having said that, if not having the pvp achievements bugs you that much, you can get people to help. For pvp it's not nearly as difficult as people think it is. I hated the pvp in this game for the first 6 months or so I played. I declared myself a pure pve player in ESO many times, and I only pvped to unlock skills.

Somehow met a random guy who mostly only pvps and we became buddies. He pved Craglorn with me when I was low cp and so I started pvping with him a bit. Kind of started to enjoy it, especially as I gained CP and gained survivability and damage. Now I know which basic sets to use, cheap ones for all around benefits as well as expensive niche gear. Flat out rejecting an entire portion of a game is a shortsighted mistake many of us have made. ESO has a ton of flaws for sure, but some things are a lot of fun when performance is halfway decent.

In terms of cost, its fairly inexpensive if you just want to casually pvp or get achievements. There are lots of cheap buyable or crafted sets you can get in impenetrable. That's really all you need besides some basic potions for your class and a bit of light knowledge on which skills to use. Unless you plan to pvp mostly fulltime, you don't even have to change around cp. At most you may want to switch your mundus stone, depending what you're running. Remember that you lose absolutely nothing when you die in Cyrodiil. No damage to gear...nothing. I'd bet my house that 90% or more of people that think they hate pvp tried it for longer, they would grow to enjoy it. Especially if you play it with friends or a fun group of strangers.

Exactly this. Go to Skyreach. I walked into Skyreach and had the achievement by the time the Chest in the back room started glowing to loot. Mostly skeletons in that place.

The same complaints come up every year for all killing blow achieves
ZoS doesnt seem willing to change it.

So your only choice right now is to adapt or not do the achievement unfortunately

I wandered into CoH last night for a dungeon boss kill and got about 50 skeletons all to myself.

Just do Skyreach. I knocked it out in about 5-7 minutes.

Comments ridiculing the OP are not stating the obvious, their being raging boopholes.

If something requires you to be in a group to do and ebgn in a group requires a tank ro a healer you should not be penalised for providing something that is required in order to do them. it dosen;t get any simpler than that. The game should not penalise you for doing what the game design requires you to do.

There's 2313213132 places in overland-zones/delves where you can easily complete it. And come on, if achievements mean *so much* to you, you must've done all the World Bosses/Dolmens by now. And they're not always packed with players, so you must've been able to do some DPS at some point. If achievements mean as much as you say they do, ofc.

It's easy. I got that achievement on my main, who's also in full healing setup. Olorime/Worm/maelstrom/master's resto. All I did was swap out Energy Orbs for Jabs. Went into Skyreach. Did half a round of Skyreach. Mission completed.

Why call them achievements if what you are asking for is more like participation trophies?

There are a whole bunch of achievements that have to do with stealing, Dark Brotherhood, and even Cadwell's Gold that I'm not going to get because that content does not interest me. It's fine.

Just solo Skyreach for the skeleton kill achievement. Can be completed in a single pass.

No...the problem is that people see their character as one role and are unwilling to switch just to gain a simple achievement lol...

Your comment might make sense if it applied to all builds, but DPS don't have these problems.

That being said, sometimes people just have to do content many times to get these achievements.
