    Oh man that sucks for you :( if I were you, I’d send ZOS a nice ticket explaining the accident and asking it to be moved to another character. Once ZOS helped me with a crown motif that got learned on the wrong character, they resent it to me so I could learn it on my crafter. They can help if you’re nice and explain it was an accident. Good luck!

    Agreed! This is what I thought the PSA was going to say. But, if you're desperate for another outfit slot on your favorite character(s), then 50% off is better than full price.

    Still too expensive for me, as I haven't even used the free one for my characters, outside of using the free Morag Tong motif on a couple of them.

    Yes, I really need a second outfit for my main, but I wasn't going to pay 1500 crowns for it. 750 is reasonable, but it sucks that it binds automatically to the character that purchases. Especially from Crown Store!

    There is basically no reason that this has to be character bound other than $$$ (except...well, oddly enough they lose money they could be gaining because plenty of people would be willing to buy them if they stuck across all characters)

    They may not be legally required to fix that for you, depending on where you live, but from a good customer service perspective they should.

    The one thing a business doesn't want a customer to feel after spending money with them, is regret.

    I'd advise submitting a ticket asking if they can move that slot to the character you wanted it on. Or if you've already bought another one, ask for that mistake purchase to be refunded.

    There's absolutely no way to standardize a price on an item that unlocks 1 slot on one account and 15 slots on another. You're stuck between punishing people for one behavior and rewarding them for another.

    So the outfit slot wound up working more like bag inventory than bank inventory.
    And people are still *** about it 9 months later because it was never really about the price. Especially now that you can pay other people in gold to buy more slots for you if it really mattered that much.

    No, it's just a few people who are still using an outlier scenario as a flimsy reason to bash ZOS.
    But, really, who's greedier? The supplier who already has plenty of buyers, or the buyer who loathes his or her supplier?

    Yes there is. It's called an "account wide" unlock.

    Many games work this way, specifically with costume slots.

    And they're generally a hell of a lot cheaper. Eg. Star Trek Online - 2 for US $2.50.

    so glad i bought only 3 on my main character. i always buy crown stuff on him for times like this when things sound to good

    Agreed.

    They never should have been more than 100 Crowns each. This is one of the worst examples of marketing to the "whales" rather than giving your customers something accessible and enjoyable for a price.

    The sale price is a joke. Make it account wide and I’ll buy. Keep it the way it is now and I’ll continue to ignore the whole outfit system, just as I’ve done from the start. Costumes are good enough for me.
