bunny hopping bannable?

is it a bannable offense to bunny hop in pvp/bg's?
edit: To clarify I mean speed jumps. where you move very far and very fast. it is a legit mechanic and not a macro.

    As in, constantly jumping up and down while you're playing? No, it's not if you're doing it manually. If you're using a macro to do it, you're taking your chances. Macros are against the ToS, I believe; but people openly admit to using them on occasion, so draw your own conclusions there I guess.

    Bannable or not, it's annoying. Please don't.




    Also, I had to read "bannable" like four times before my brain stopped saying "bananable" ... not sure what's wrong with me.

    It should be banned, but it makes it easy to spot a PVP'er.

    it is traditionally called bhopping in many other games so i use that term :p

    but the jumps are very long fast and can chain together.

    Sounds like regular long jump. Don't see it as being bannable unless they use macro to do it. The jump itself is just a by product of how weirdly jumping is done.

    this bhopping has a stamina cost, it also doesnt but you go a tad slower.

    Bunny hopping in this game is hilarious, almost as bad as the Battlefield games, should be where it belongs on the fps genre, a moving target is harder to hit, if your a noob that is, very easy to kill bunny hoppers, even easier on this no skilled game, just hit tab to target, there is no leading the target or nothing.

    i dont think we are talking about the same thing.... i am talking about bhops that look like how phoon bunny hops. really really fast. you can go in and out and move across map fast.

    Then it sounds like you're asking if some kind of exploit is a bannable offense... Which, yeah, it is. If you're exploiting a game mechanic to gain advantage or bypass limits put in place by the developer, they can ban you at their discretion.

    Idk what happened but when I started playing pvp it became a reflex xD Now I jump all over cyrodil.

    Yup. Pretty sure the OP has no clue what we have always called bunny hopping and decided to use that term for a speed hack.
