Haha, no joking of course. It was the first times i did PvP when people were just discovering the game. It was so awesome with 1000's of noobs riding the same white (and a few brown) horses in cyrodill.

When my friends still played the game . Sure there’s bugs and stuff everywhere but those memories of playing will also outweigh the hiccups in game .

I'm with you on the trees, after getting a 4K HDR setup i have to say there's a few places in Cyrodiil this happens i think bleakers to the west and its stunning, like ur fighting in LOTR

Ran vet Scalecaller for that Zaan helm.
Went through 4 or 5 different tanks, but me (DD) the other DD, and the healer all stayed.
We finally got a tank who stuck it out and didn't drop group after one wipe, and he had never done the dungeon on normal, let alone vet. It took a few more tries, but we eventually got it down and in the end we all walked away with our Zaan helmets.

I love those people. We all stayed in good spirits and joked around. Aside from the few tanks that left angrily, no one pointed fingers or placed any blame, and we came through in the end.
It could've been a nightmare, but it instead will be something I'll always remember.

Haha true true, it's hard to say. My first clear of vDSA. Nobody wanted to take a Sorc for a healer but meet this one guy who heard me and accepted my playstyle. We completed it though I didn't get that Master resto but I found a best friend that had for last couple years.


I think other was when I was ready give up playing my healer. Then my friend recommended me to one of the oldest in the game and he told me " play like a Sorc not a Templar. Afterwards, I created this build called pug proof and never looked back.

Those are just the strongest memories, but I had so many with friends that I have enjoyed from my secret potoato fiestish too many werewolf DPS pledge experience that everyone got a joy making dog jokes. I guess though it all started when I clicked purchase for the game so many moons ago.

Dancing in a fountain with happy spirits in Temple of the Mourning Springs. I was happy and touched deeply by their dialogues. I even didn't want to leave - I was afraid that spirits will disappear and I will not be able to dance with them again

Probably when some poor soul has been farming an inferno staff for 3 weeks and it drops on my first run and i give it to them. Or the time it happend with a dagger when they where bis cant remeber which setfornthe dagger.

Finally buying Hunding's Palatial Estate after breaking into it several times in the weeks before Homestead launched

The first venture out of Belkarth at Vet 2 and seeing the mysterious ruined towers on the Nedes on the horizon

When I converted to a Frost Mage, used Icy Rage in PVP causing mass immobilizations against a Keep Defense fighting off a large zerg with some Red Argonian who was Ice Staff Icy Raging against my small band of friends as well... when there weren't so many "immunity to snares" crap all the time. haha! So much fun beating that Pact Argonian Templar Ice Staff user zerg leader with his own medicine outnumbered.

Winterborn critical hits were the stuff back in the day before it got nerfed to not crit.

When I finally got that damn Flawless Conqueror Achievement with my Stamplar. Many weeks of training, of learning mechanics, of praying so I don't get *** plant RNG, of hoping my internet didn't lag at any point during the 50-minute run. That was when CP cap was 501. Good days.

Listening to a sorc cry in area chat about shield nerfs. Usually I wouldn't take pleasure in something like that. Heck I didn't even agree with the changes, but listening to this grown man on the verge of tears because of a change to a video game made me think about a couple of things.

(1) I'm extremely glad I'm not that attached to a video game. As an adult gamer, it makes me happy to realize that it is, in fact, just a game and not something that should ever cause that much emotional distraught, no matter what changes. If it becomes unenjoyable, it's easy to move on to something else.

(2) I can just enjoy the game and content. This kind of falls into number 1. In fact realizing number 1 gives me a sense of freedom and makes it that much easier to just enjoy it and not get worked up over game changes.

It's really nice in fact.
