Reflected damage questions

There are some skills that reflect damage. Does anyone know how that damage is modified?

For example. One hand and shield, defensive posture.

Is the returned damage based on how much damage you would take (using your resistances) or is the reflected damage based on the resistance of the opponent, or maybe a combination of both?

And is the returned damage based on any of your stats, like spell power, max magicka etc?

Is the returned damage also modified by any of your champion points?

As far as I know, Defensive Posture, Spell Wall and Reflective scales are all mitigated like regular damage. The return damage is the same damage that you would have done on the enemy target, that is the base damage would be, if you have less resistance for example than them then you will take more damage than they would have. Oh and obviously Dragon Fire Scales makes the damage you take larger cause of its morph effect. But yea its mitigated just like and other damage as far as I know.

    U have double mitigation.
First u send a reflectable projectile on an enemy that can use reflect skill.
Damage it would take is mitigated by its defensive stuff and then that new damage is sent back at u.
Then u have ur own mitigation stuff and u get the portion of portion of original damage.

Did a little bit of testing with Bone Wall which also reflects a portion direct damage. Just tested quickly in PvE different might apply to PvP.

    Did not increase damage:
    * Applying major fracture to target did not have any effect on damage returned.
    * Lowering my armor, by using potion that applies minor fracture to myself, did not improve damage.
    * Removing my gear did not improve damage.
    * Increasing my own Weapon damage did not increase damage returned.
    * Increasing my stamina with food did not have any effect either.

    Increased damage returned.
    * Minor berserk did increase the damage a bit.
    * Using Sharpened weapons did increase the damage.
    * Using Lover mundus did increase the damage.
    * My own crit rating seemed to determine if the returned damage would crit or not.
(Tested in PVE on a bear, and PvE monsters generally don't crit, so it must have been my crit chance that improved damage)

    Still left to test:
    Status effects like concussion.
Which Champion Points has an effect.

    interesting.
