Seriously, bring back the original system of softcaps.

It will solve most problems...

Explain this system to me. I started playing at VR 14 on Xbox. I don’t know if soft caps existed then but I’d like to know how they changed the game

Actually, not. It would make proc sets OP which would be really bad. Of course you may be leaving out that you mean to say Zos should nerf half the sets bonuses in the game.

It would not solve what Zos is trying to solve with shields, momentum or evasion. I think that covers the hottest subjects this PTS cycle.

Simplistic solutions tend to overlook the big picture.

Basically they had a soft cap on all stats. That could be exceeded, but would have diminishing returns. There was a lightning bolt next to the stat that showed you had gone over cap and the diminishing returns scaled from there (more and more as I recall).

Obviously with CP added and all the many changes to the game it would have to be reworked... but it was a good system, I thought it was one of the better ones they had...

They would have to account for those things that mostly weren't in the game at the time.

A proc set with a softcap on stamina does less damage.

    etc.

Remember that people wanted to specialize in magicka and stamina too. In fact that was a popular demand at that time.

If we go back to 1.3 I have no problem, but we need to rework more than half the sets.
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique
