Of all the previous crates this is probably the most uninteresting one yet. The designs are plain and re-skin is too straightforward especially the radiant apex. Also some of the contents are just recycled rewards from previous crates along with some unattractive icings on top and why the hell is there a motif in legendary category!?

That's some nice gear to pick up for free (if you've traded all the garbage from ouroboros crates for gems)

My approach has always been buy one at most two packs if there is a wide variety of items I want, see how many I can get and use gems for any must haves. So far I've managed to get all the daedric prince banners this way (although I think Azura was from a furniture pack, grrr ZOS).

It's not the theme that's the problem. It's just that the Apex mounts suck and that's generally what people are gambling for.Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 7 paid expansions. 22 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the vast majority of this game.

✭✭✭✭✭from what i saw in the datamining for murkmire+ it wont get better. i dont see anything interesting for me this time as well. still owning pretty many gems from free crates i cant use, and the murkmire season will be even more disappointing, sloppy mounts and...well i hope the body and facial tattoos wont come into the crates there, since there are 4 times same of each with different colors. imagining those as blue fillers, it means a lot of trash with different color which u wont be even able to exchange to gems, since they are just a bit differing by color. so even if want to skip this season, the next one will be disappointing as well. to me it looks, as even the effort in the crown stuff is decreasing more and more, we can blame us all, those who shouted horray for crates, didnt even care when the apex mounts came without gem-purchase option, when the pyandonesian motif as chapters came...its rip off machinery is going on, and its getting worse and zos is going on to test out, how much money they can make with decreasing effort.

I think you missed these... They wre in the dwarven crates, IIRC - and they were just added to the store for a few days early last month, before the wild hunt.
I will agree with the OP, this crate season is a little lack luster - interesting mount ideas, but still lack luster imo. I think i will probably use my gems to get the owl mask, but i don't see anything else worth indulging on RNG for.

I love this season too. A friend sent me a crate which had a doggie in it and I spent some gems on that chicken.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭Reaper's Harvest ran for 60 days. Hollowjack may run an additional week (67 days), but by the last Monday in November we should see Xanmeer. Which people probably already want to skip, too.
Mileage is going to vary. Xanmeer is the first season I'm excited about since Wild Hunt so I guess I lean more heavily toward Nature themes. Some people are going to love the Elementals. Some the Undead. What it all shares in common is that it's been internally approved as Elder Scrolls appropriate so enjoy whatever you want to customize your character with and don't let other people discourage you.signing off1 -

Except for one single thing.
The only legendary I get as a drop and not bought as gems is the grand gold coast exp scroll. Across all crate seasons, I now loathe the thing with a passion as anything else will also give 33 gems but might actually be useful or wanted. I've already got plenty of unneeded scrolls in the bank.
Got an apex though not a radiant one so can't really complain, its just that scroll now triggers me badly.
Think I'll make that a pre-req for buying a second pack in a season, no pack if that scroll drops (hint hint ZOS)

✭I have 650 gems saved up from Psijic season (seriously I'm glad that's over).... it looks like that number is set to rise.
I might grab the zombie skin and personality - but they won't see me buying crates this season. Too seasonally thematic. As soon as halloween is over you'll look like a fool riding around on these mounts imo... what's next? Santa themed mounts for Xmas... oh wait, I shouldn't say this... it might happen....
