With the PTS patch notes we saw a change to how the damage was calculated with the range on the screaming cliff racer. I would propose we give the same treatment to bows so they can find more use out of the passive "Long Shot" in a balanced way.

So I propose this change:

Bow in pve is used as a buff bar and bow/bow builds are weaker in comparison to every other setup. By making the long shot passive behave more like screaming cliff racer we can easily buff the weapon line while having little to no effect on pvp/pve where classes don't main bow/bow.
Making the increase in damage gradual would make it behave better, instead of having to reach 24m to gain a bonus. Based on information I found online, it has milestone points at 10m 3%, 20m 7% and 24m 12%.
Changing it to damage done would provide a small buff to skills outside the skill line helping bow/bow builds even more. They really don't have a lot of ranged options to begin with so it's not like the 12% is a huge balancing concern and in real practice, you would be using skills within the 8-18m range.
The bow already has lower weapon damage than DW/2H and lower crit than DW daggers.
Maybe even changing the numbers slightly from 12%, the tooltip change I made was merely to demonstrate how a small change would give bows a long awaited buff.
Thoughts?
