Good point. ESO is pay to win. I agree with you. Zos already have lost trust and integrity. No, zos should actually attempt to balance the classes... this system would actually reward them for breaking the game for 1/2 their community as they would likely monetize the token after
"If you are quitting, can I have your stuff??"
I am of the opinion that when ZOS makes huge sweeping changes like in Murkmire, everyone should get one free class change and more should be sold in the Crown Store.

I do not like the patch notes either but clearly a class change token will not be coming. Certainly obvious that a free one will not happen.
It would be an endless cycle of people swapping to whatever the FOTM class is for each patch. I understand Sorc outrage, I really do. As someone who has primarily played Templar and DK since launch, I've watched my classes get completely gutted, over and over.
Those of you who truly love and are skilled with the class will persevere and still be effective. Those of you who've been playing sorc because easy mode, will have to reroll to a NB.
Of all the MMORPGames I played, ESO is the most alt friendly.
...then they did not love the class. That's the thing. Most of the people who truly love the class and are skilled with it also hate the changes and are actively thinking of quitting the game altogether over them

I mean, the whole alternate advancement system (aka Champion Points) is account wide!
Every other one, you -don't- get a point from which on character advancement gets account wide, you gotta level each character on their own, each and every time they raise the level cap and stuff....then they did not love the class. That's the thing. They loved the -advantage- that class gave them.
I played my favorite builds (stamina nightblade and magica sorceror) for quite a while. I will play them for a long time, no matter what they nerf... because I am playing my -characters- and not my -classes-. So what if I have a time when things get harder? Things change, all the time, this time that class gets nerfed, next time another class will get nerfed. Way of the world, way of the game. I'll still play my characters, because I like my character ideas!
I have 2 of each class (mag and stam) maxed out ready for the roller coaster that this games balance cycle has become. When the nerf bat gets swung, don't cry, just move to the next class chosen to be the top dog. If you have four or five toons that are all the same class, you're doing it wrong imo. If you're crutching on op skills, expect to be nerfed at some point. You need a contingency plan.
Yes, but not via token. I want to be able to freely switch between classes (outside of combat) so that I can learn all skills on the same character, in line with other Elder Scrolls games.
Well, as I said:TheShadowScout wrote: »Of all the MMORPGames I played, ESO is the most alt friendly.

Not true. The Sorcerer playstyle has been changed and destroyed over and over and over again.
Just because they quit does not mean they "did not love the class"
They just love what the class used to be before it was demolished
They're just not having fun anymore
If loosing your advantage means you are "not having fun anymore"... well, sorry to have to say it once again, but... then you did not love the -class- but the advantage.TheShadowScout wrote: »...then they did not love the class.
