Did ZOS Just Kill Solo Play With This One Set?

Soldier of Anguish (Medium)
2: Weapon Damage
3: Weapon Critical
4: Weapon Damage
5: When you deal damage with a melee attack, you have a 25% chance to traumatize your enemy, negating their next 5500 points of healing for 4 seconds. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.

It's not a named buff/debuff which I would think means it can stack. Fighting even two people with this set basically means you can't heal. I don't have PTS downloaded yet, but if this set stacks then honestly solo play might be dead. Defiles are horrible solo, but think about if you just straight up can't heal at all. Even fighting one person with this set would be absolutely brutal. I will need to test on PTS when I get it downloaded, but first impressions tell me this might be the end to solo play. Someone please convince me I'm wrong.

Don't worry, solo play is already plenty dead even without this set going live. Solo Stamden, Stamplar, Magsorc are done son with these patch notes. Guess it's time for everyone to roll NB.

You want a solo build? Use Leki's + Fury on a heavy bleedblade, and enjoy the passive 50% AoE reduction with Evasion. There's a solo build that's still usable. lol

Move over sloads, this item set is now BIS for Xv1ing

1375 healing per second negated if proc'd on cooldown, 1100 if you take 1s to proc it after the cooldown. Play a stamblade and simply weaving Surprise attack alone is 2 rolls on 25% chance to proc it, so pretty much every 2 second on average. Other things can also proc it, such as deadly cloak, which makes it even worse.

And the 2-4 pieces are actually good as well, that just makes it a complete nobrainer for high pressure builds. I guess you either go seriously overboard on healing or just forget about it and go for HP regen stacking if you want to survive it.

I hope everyone has a pocket healer ready, because we absolutely are going to get defiled to death if this goes live.

reverb is gonna be disgusting with this set. hard cc, with defile, and negated 5500 points of healing. even if your a magplar i think your dead. follow up with an ultimate of your choice.

And if you don’t use the 60% heal of werewolf that set pretty much mitigates that 4K cost heal with light attack spam

nothing wrong with healing to full health, but when it's INSTANT from 3% to immediately FULL 100% health it ruins pvp.
people have been complaining about that for Years.

i wouldn't wory about this though just from an armor set.
1 person wearing that set wont be much of a problem, your complaint was about multiple people wearing that set and i bet that will be a rare event to find multiple people wearing that same set.

Are you a simpleton?? Massive AoE dmg reduction being passed out like candy is not a good meta for stamplar or stamden.

Stam Sorc comes, Stam Sorc casts negate, stam sorc hits with the set, it procs, enemies dead on ANY breach, especially mag users.

The real answer is no, the game will be fine.

The changes may suck but if anything "broke" the game it was Morrowind and that was.... 16 months ago? So yeah, the game will be fine.

I don't see this set going live without getting nerfed tbh. It will perform even better than duroks in many situations

You do realize many stamdens don’t rely on shuffle for dodge chance... they have amazing heals and damage, losing dodge chance isn’t much.
Stamplars will now be even more tanky with extra sustain. Guess you’ve never seen much in PvP. Nice using insults btw
