    I just cant anymore... The inmates are running the asylum. Those in charge clearly dont play their own game (need more proof, watch any dev stream of them trying to clear tough content). This is going to be f'ing terrible. The balance and design teams need to be replaced at this point because being completely incompetent is the only possible explanation for these changes.

    ...I shared this with other class reps. O.o this is scary concept for pvp and pve. I already see pet casts being interrupted. Now they could potentially die more or will they live long with longer duration?

    Hello. Don't get me wrong. But what is the point of Class Representative team if we got only nerfs in patch notes for sorc?
    1) It's separate trolling?
    2) You did'n asked for that nerfs ok. Then why your team don't make open letter abou this terrible situation.

    Any useful information will be good to understand what's going on. Ty.

    2) You did'n asked for that nerfs ok. Then why your team don't make open letter abou this terrible situation.

    While I know there's doubts but sadly I do see some changes are a result of are mentioning of pain points, but this is the time for us to continue to do our job. P.T.S well we all have doubts it is a time share feedback and concerns. The class rep have a meeting for pts coming soon too. So yes you do have the right to doubt but wouldn't stop sharing concerns.

    I still recall when you sort of schooled me because I was too... emotional about another nerf.

    I'm with bearclaw.. With all due respect ZOS, I couldn't look at some of these balances seriously; but since they are in fact serious, I must say it looks as if no one of authority on your team actually "plays" the game. I'm not sure if these balances are home grown, or you have outsourced it to a 3rd party, but whoever was behind this looks extremely inept and incompetent.

    I PvPed on my magsorc since launch up until January this year, when I made my stamina warden. I have not looked back at magicka builds since, as they underperform vs stamina builds in many ways. I would be more than happy to give you feedback on that.

    In general, most of the PvP communities I know, would also echo this sentiment.

    So, try now to imagine my reaction when I see that you're adding a channel to all damage shield abilities.

    I think everyone could live with the rework of the way the damage shields take damage, but do you understand how fast gameplay actually is? In particular, the speed of PvP?

    And that there is a mechanic in the game to interrupt channeled abilities?

    And that most users of damage shields are in light armor, which offers minimal damage resistance?

    If the angle is that you believe damage shields are reducing a need for healers in PvP, I am telling you that with these changes, there won't be anything left to heal.

    No reasonably minded player is going to stroll into PvP (be it Cyrodiil, or Battlegrounds) with a magicka build in light armor after this patch, it is simply not viable with a 1 second cast time, and you would know this if you experienced the gameplay for yourselves, or worked with professionals that had.

    This move is akin to adding a 1 second channel time to roll dodging. Combat moves too fast for something like that to be anything more than a joke. Yet here we are reading the patch notes.

    I also would like you to know, that a large part of what makes this game so much fun, is the speed of combat. It's exciting!

    So if the angle is to slow things down, that is also a step in the wrong direction.

    I would like to add again, that I mainly PvP on my stam toons (for the above mentioned reason), so I am not just some salty magsorc coming to complain, but a seriously concerned and committed player that wants only for this game to thrive, both in PvP and PvE.

    This change would be tragic; not just for gameplay, but for any trust you have with your consumers.

    I'm pretty sure they just ignore the reps.

    Zos have always ignored months of feedback and just did whatever they want, they always make a bad decisons and then are too proud to admit it and leave it for years until they change it and try to make it sound like it was a decision they came up with.

    Look at cost poisons, 30% on tpts, people said they was OP so they ignored feedback then doubled it, then few months later they reduced back to 30%, then finally now to 10%.

    Look at the snare on gap closers when it first random came out. People said 100% snare was OP, they reduced it slowly patch after patch.

    Look at the change to templar spear ult, it was orignal magicka they changed it too stam in the same patch as they changed db to stam and people asked then to change it back as db was just better, they left it for 1.5 yrs...

    can we at least keep it instant cast pls?

    ie, the shield pop up immediately, but if we take an interrupt attack within 1sec, the shield is completely destroyed in one hit.
