I am guessing there is a vast amount more sub 1K CP players as most would be max 400ish and not play Elder Forums Online.

CP 912. Been playing since March 2017. Believe it or not. My main is still stuck at Coldharbour questline. There are so many kinds of activities in the game right now that questing has taken a backseat. I need to constantly remind myself to stop farming, pledges, dailies etc across 8 characters. Lol

I'll be honest, these brackets are really arbitrary.

0, 10-160 (gear cap), 161-300 (Attribute Scaling Stops), 301-780 (Current Spending Cap), 781-810 (Murkmire Spending Cap), 810+ (Beyond Cap) would have probably been more informative about where people are in progression.

It doesn't really matter to me. As long as the game is fun for me, I'm not really concerned with that sort of thing. Group content (which it seems is why CP matters - though I might likely be wrong about that) isn't something I plan to do for a couple reasons: first, I wouldn't expect (or even ask) a group to deal with someone like me, whose lag averages 2 seconds on a GOOD day; and second, historically I haven't enjoyed group content until I have a toon who can solo it (mostly for the same lag reason....)

I spent a few years in WoW trying to do group content, and having some real ********** call me all sorts of names even though I'd informed them up front that my lag was abysmal. Later, I got guilds going on the two servers my family and friends played on, and we (family and friends as well as me - they were okay dealing with my lag ....) did much of the content in a quiet coordinated effort - including me on my hunters - because at least my pets didn't lag, and since most of us were hunters we didn't have issues with using the pets except for certain bosses. At that point I, my daughter, her husband, their two children, my sister, her son, his fiancee, and seven of their friends from college played the game and grouped for dungeons.

I still didn't really enjoy group content - it's too hard for me to keep track of chat and what's going on in front of me at the same time - and the "chat app" sort of thing isn't very viable over satband which is all I have. I could hear what others said, but not voice-respond, and by the time I typed something in the chat pane, well.... all sorts of other stuff would have happened, mostly not good! After several more years of that, I had max-level toons, and started multi-boxing my own lower-level toons through level 60-ish group content. That was a lot more fun for me - I knew what I could do, I knew the instances, and it got my lowbies some decent gear plus my mains got chances at the really nifty pets and mounts.

The main thing is - a game needs to be fun for all those who play it, no matter their reason for doing so, or what they love to do in a game.

Max I have seen is 2756 on PC NA, but that was back in April 2017. I have not see the person since, so I don't know what they are at, now.

True and fair enough but to be honest, no one is stopping the lazy vast majority of the playerbase from actually visiting or taking part in discussions on the forums, so.
