The world of Lizards and Dark Elves

Since the release of ESO I was excited for the game, nothing was better than playing my Nord. Since then majority of the DLC or new chapters have been Dark Elves and Argonians. No Nord, Breton, Orc, Redguard or even Imperial. All Nird homes look the same, housing furnishings are plain and simple. The game has not kept my interest or attention, players beware the DLC after Murkmire will another Dark Elf chapter

    Craglorn literally first expansion = Redguard
    Orsinium the best DLC = Orc
    Gold Coast = Imperial, basically, as was Imperial City sort of
    Hew's Bane = Redguard

    Summerset = Altmer
    Vvardenfell = Dunmer, and I guess Clockwork City is semi-dark elf

    There's been no Nord, Khajiit or Breton expansions and nothing Argonian though the next one will be. What a very strange assertion you've made.

    No it hasn't?

    Wrothgar = Orcs
    Thieve's Guild = Redguard
    Dark Brotherhood = Colovia/Imperial
    Summerset = Altmer
    Imperial City = Imperial
    Horns of the Reach = Nord

    After Vvardenfell there's nothing else Dunmer to do, besides the Telvanni mainland, which I doubt it. And what's with the hate toward Argonians? Murkmire is gonna be their FIRST content. Ever.

    Not quite true. We've had some dungeon DLCs and the Maw of Lorkhaj was released with Hew's Bane.

    Shadows of the Hist = Argonian
    Horns of the Reach = Nord
    Dragonbones = Nord
    Maw of Lorkhaj = Khajiit

    They were 'small' enough I can understand overlooking them but they do exist. Nothing really Breton (unless you want to argue that the Reachmen in Horns of the Reach count) but they got their whole region covered in the vanilla game, so all that's really left is Adamantine Tower and maybe a chance of some dungeon DLCs or tiny islands off the coast.

    Yeah, I agree with the others. This isn't true. Yes Argonians got Shadows of the Hist and Dunmer got Morrowind, but other DLC zones have been pretty well spread out over different races.

    Nords got Dragon Bones, Bretons (Reachmen) got Horns of the Reach, Orcs got Orsinium, Redguards got Hew's Bane, Imperials got the Gold Cost and Imperial City, Khajiit got Maw of Lorkhaj, Altmer got Summerset...

    The only race that hasn't gotten any sort of content are Bosmer, and even then they have a Crown Crate season themed after them.

    Well there you have it, yes you all are right in a sense, I was more thinking of the lines if a zone that you quest in. You have orsinium, Somerset, clockwork, vvardenfell. And now murkmire

    Are you saying that just because it involved dragons? Or because the final bosses are Nords?

    Fang lair is a Dwarven ruin. Scalecaller Peak is an Ancient Orc ruin. No Nord culture/architecture in either.

    All I could think of while reading this was Molag just literally chilling in someone’s basement, poses so when someone enters he’s just: "hello there :^)"

    Maybe me being The Elder Scrolls fan, I want to see what I haven't already. We already had stuff for the Imperial in Oblivion and stuff for Bretons in Daggerfall. Nords got Skyrim. I really don't want to see an expanded Skyrim just yet. Guess I played to much Skyrim. Sadly I never got Redguard so never experienced that. Only ones really missing right now I believe are the Khajits. We need to see more of their homeland.

    After the Khajits, I believe Skyrim should be fleshed out more. Also be nice to see Shivering Isles again. Or better yet realms of the other Deadric princes. Like to see where Wonder Woman hangs her boots. :p

    Fang lair is a Dwarven ruin. Scalecaller Peak is an Ancient Orc ruin. No Nord culture/architecture in either.

    It focuses on the fate of a Dragon Priest's cult, and those were a HUGE part of Nord history and influence on Nord culture. Witness the number of Dragon Priests that appear in ES5: Skyrim and the large number of ruins they left behind. So yes, Nord dungeons.

    There still is a bit of dunmer lands left besides port Telvannis... Necrom to the east of Bal Foyen and Deshaan for example, or the Velothi Highlands coastline at the border towards skyrim...
    User-Enodoc-ESO_Regions.png
    ...and there are still so many future map zone possibilities in Tamriel they seem to have no solid plans for at this time... I could see lots of "guild-sized" DLCs happening... ;)

    There are some DLC flavors that would be highly unlikely. Like another Breton one (unless you count Reachmen), or another Bosmer one (unless they make Falinesti) - since those regions (High Rock and Valenwood) are more or less all covered by ESO already.

    Western skyrim would make for good DLC country, but since it has not been that long since TES-V:Skyrim, I would expect them to go for more "new experience" places before that. Like Black Marsh, which is of course coming with Murkmire. Or Elsweyr, of which they have shown little yet. The rest of the imperial lands (nibenay, colovia) and the rest of hammerfell will likely also come at some point.

    And then there are more possibilites off-tamriel as well. I could see an expansion covering the three islands between Tamrial and Akavir - Esroniet, Yneslea and Cathnoquey, each reputedly somewhere between the size of a starter island and standard region, those would almost certainly have been the staging area for the akaviri invasion ten years before the events of ESO, and thus be in akaviri hands... and so might make prime expansion territory, without deadric princes for a change, just find out the story behind that invasion, and prevent the next one?
    Or a Pyandonea themed expansion... we met the Maormer as enemies in AD questlines and summerset, we could meet them in other ways at some point, possibly even getting an unheard-of invitation to their home isle... or perhaps only meet them in a "high seas" themed expansion covering some isles between Summerset and Pyandonea, keeping their main lands a mystery...
    Other off-continent places to make expansions for would be visiting whatever is left of Yokuda or Atmora, or all the daedric planes...

    Altmer: Summerst
    Argonian: Shadows of the Hist, Murkmire
    Breton: -
    Bosmer: -
    Dunmer: Morrowind
    Imperial: Imperial City, Dark Brotherhood (Gold Coast)
    Khajiit: -
    Nord: Horns of the Reach
    Orc: Orsinium
    Redguard: Thieves Guild (Hew's Bane)

    You could make an argument that Khajiit got the Maw of Lorkhaj trial, and Dragonbones is partially Nordic, but overall, Bretons, Bosmer, Khajiit and Nords got the shortest end of the content-stick. Bretons and Bosmer will be difficult to expand outside of dungeon DLCs, as their whole provinces are already in the game. But Khajiit and Nord should deserve some zone content next year.

    Khajiit are the most neglected race, by far. They don't have a single full zone to themselves.

    Khenarthi's Roost is a starter island and half of Reaper's March belongs to Valenwood.

    It's a shame we won't get to see any mainland Breton zones. They had the best base game zones, so would love to see what ZOS could do with their architecture now that they're more familiar with the engine.
