
Doesn't dual wielding swords give 5% extra damage from one of the passives? (which counts as spell or weapon damage).

Just an example of logic that has been used before and can be used in this game as well.

And it gives more base spell damage, together those give you more damage for spells then either the lightning staff or fire staff but you loss out on light and heavy attacks, those are important.
