I bet this has been discussed before, but since so many new patches have landed yet it still has not been implemented, it's a good time as any to rekindle public awareness.
The point of the discussion being the item Shadowsilk Gem, and it's effect of essentially disguising your character as a Goblin.
It is a bit ridiculous that ZOS has introduced the Polymorphs section of the Account Collections, with such Polymorphs as the Skeleton ( another quest item reward disguise that turned into a Polymorph, circa Collections intro), Cadaverous Assassin, the 3 Xivkyns, the Maelstrom Baron, the Clockwork Automaton etc etc etc. yet not include our fearsome Goblin.
Even more ridiculous is how we Goblin lovers out there have to essentially occupy an Inventory slot just to carry our favorite Goblin disguise with us, as if the game was still in early alpha/beta !
So, the solution is simple, make the Goblin disguise into an actual Collections Polymorph named
Shadowsilk Goblin Warrior, that is to be earned ath the end of the
A Goblin's Affection quest, with a nice flavor text like:
Use the the Shadowsilk Gem created by Valdam Andoren's misguided apprentice, Denthis Romori, to take on the guise of a Shadowsilk Goblin warrior !
No guarantee you will not be abducted and wed to the tribe's chieftain though !
...and voila ! everyone gets what they want, everyone's happy, Divines bless y'all !
