Add active skills for dark brotherhood and thieves guild

I get the feeling that ZOS didn't want to be accused as “pay to win” in their early development, so the two skill lines are passive only. But look at it now, it's really inpropriate for the most awesome guilds to not have any active skills.

Here are some ideas for the two guilds:
DISCLAIMER: Many ppl may think my skill suggestions are bad, and that's okay, my main point is I want active skills for dark brotherhood and thieves guild :\

1.Backstab-count as using blade of woe, stab your enemy with blade of woe. Cost a lot of resource, but ignore block effect and shield. Bonus damage if used when sneaking.

2.Faceswap. Steal the look of a humanoid. Guard will not recognize you if you have bounty and steal a face from other, and in pvp area you can appear as a enemy player with the team icon (tho still can be damaged)

3.Hide and seek. Cast to immediately get into sneak if not spotted by anyone. While slotted, sneaking and stealing generate ult

4.Eye of shadow. Thieves guild ult. Very cheap, summon a shadow eye that is basically a free camera (can fly). It won't be able to spot sneaking enemy, but is invisible to othera and perfect for scouting. Last x seconds or when you are being attacked (so hide before use it). As a side use, it's a good screen capturer from above or for landscape

Sounds to me like you want a whole plethora of "I Win" buttons.

    No thanks.

They beefed up pickpocketing and added a one-hit stealth kill mechanic. That's pretty much all my master thief/Silencer stam Sorc needs.

I would like to see both skill lines fleshed out more. They were very underwhelming

Suuuure. And then wait for the nice "cease and desist" letter from the Game of Thrones lawyers? You know, faceless men of bravos and all that?

...which lorewise belongs to mages and psijics (scrying!) and not thieves. And would be useless in anything but PvP, and a hassle to code, and all that...
    ...
If anything, such a scrying should come as consumable alliance war siege engine. Set up your scrying pool, get a ten second aerial glimpse, then it goes "poof"! if they ever add a new PvP region (which I suppose someday might come) they could bundle it in there, together with some more "magical siege engines"... like teleport gates that can pop one infiltratur behind walls (with a random landing point, which might just pop them in front of some guards...) or magical artillery, or beast summoning stones or whatever...

The way I read this OP suggesting is "please add overpowered PvP skills to those guilds so I can have an super-advantage!"
And that's not a good idea... especially not when tied to DLC guilds. PtW, anyone?

Personally I consider the DB "Blade of Woe" well worth their lack of actual active skill. Especially since it doesn't tkae up a skill slot... ;)
And TG... are about the stealing for fun and profit. And getting away with it. And their guild helps a lot with it. Their "active skill" is "Clemency", as anyone who ever lost something really, really good to a unexpected guard spotting them will attest!

No need for anything more. Definitenly not PtW abilities, which shouldn't happen.
And no extra profit for adding anything more for ZOS there, so it won't happen.

Regardless of my thoughts on OPs suggestions, the suggested idea isn't new/unique to GoT.

True enough. Doppelgänger and all that.

But in combination with an -assassin guild-???

(besides, they already got themselves inspired by Assassins creed with a quick disguise to escape the heat, yes?)

Ahh yeah my skill suggestions may lack considerations....but don't you want active skills for the 2 coolest guilds throughout elder scroll series? :\

Guild related enchantments and poisons I can think of but no spells and skills. The previous games never deployed specific spells and/or skills.

But single player and MMO are different. We didn't have fighter guild/ mage guild/ weapon/ class skill lines neither before

    No, not really.
Because they -already- have their niftyness.
I mean, who needs some active skill if you have blade of woe?
And what active skill would fit with thieves who are all about not being noticed in their stealing and burglary? Their clemency is already perfect to support their work!

I mean, if anything, and active abilities would have to support these guilds specific niche...

I could see a "knockout" skill that can be used by burglars on civilians to be able to rob that safebox undisturbed... or a "distraction" skill that lures a guard away from a safebox for a certain amount of time... but those would be devaluing the game since figuring out their movement patterns and picking the right time to do your heist IS part of the good thievery fun! (also, those things could better be done with consumables you can purchase at the thieves guild only - a pouch of sleeping powder or a noisemaker you can throw, etc.)

As for assassins... well, I only wish they would get more varied daily missions. Not just "knife that guy in the streets" but also... stuff like "break into that house and put the poison in this bottle/scorpion in the bedsheet/snake in the underpants drawer, then get out without any guard spotting you" or "sabotage the chariot to make it look like an accident" kind of missions...
