It’s not pay to win, nor is it broken OP, all it does is increases movement speed which is doesn’t include any damage buff or any defensive buffs. It’s a normal trait that has its counter play. How about snaring your super fast target? What’s he going to do? Run around you to death? Run away? Nothing in this game is pay to win, just an argument noobs use because they can’t access such features. Smh I’m more than sure someone who doesn’t have summerset can just ask a crafter to craft them a specific jewlery. Or l2p
a GOOD player running 2-3 swift is just a nightmare to play against. Those who say "swift is not P2W" are those who have golden Swift jewels.

Be a stam sorc helps due to bound armor 8% stam bonus.
5 hundings,
Gold nirn 2h sword,
infused bow with weapon damage glyph
reinforced heavy chest stam glyph
2 rings weapon damage glyph protective
Bone pirate
1 ring. Protective with Weapon damage glyph
4 body all inpen all stam.
2 kena medium stam glyphs
Dubious drink
Lady mundus and 43 points into medium armor and spell mit CP will get you to 30k mitigation.
Slot camo hunter and you will be at 47%crit.
Tool tips. 20 k dizzy 24.5k onslaught. 20k dawnbreaker. Depending on CP allotments these can change.
Keep in mind Im a nord. Which is only best in slot at looking good drinking mead
These numbers are better with redguard orc or imperial.
If I wanted to go glass cannon and go robust jewelry and warrior mundus these numbers go crazy.
Im tempted to drop 1 protective for 1 swift since Im a stam sorc I get 10% with hurricane and I would be sitting at 42% mitigation instead of 45%

eh, waste of cp, mundus and i'm not fond of kena
It works for me. I dont expect others to use it.
I think a few of the posts glorifying swift have a little too much hyperbole in them and I'm concerned that they may be posted by people who covertly want it nerfed (by making it appear as if it were 'OP' ... which it's not). Swift is helpful, but you're not going to get much of an edge from it unless you are also hyper- vigilant to potential danger and have very quick reaction time. In other words, the more experienced and skillful you are, the more you will get out of it (which is true for just about anything). That being said, many 'enemy' players are equally as swift as you, so any 'edge' you get from swift is nullified when your opponent also has it.
I like it being a jewelry trait because it alleviates the need to wear specialized armor for a 'non-temporary' speed buff.

If you think this game is pay to win, you’re probably a low cp noob in cyro who dies a lot and finds anything as an excuse to complain.

It is pay to win, not on a gamebreaking level, but it still is pay to win. Not every set can be crafted and crafting jewelry is still too expensive. I think the main problem here is that transmuting jewelry is locked for non-summerset owners, which extremely limits their build options.
It really pains me to see that players are in such a denial that they do not want to admit what is clearly pay to win. You pay for the expansion and you get an advantage over others, No matter how little or big it is.

No it’s not pay to win. It’s a part of a DLC/expansion which is a part of the game. They add new features. Just because you can’t afford a new DLC doesn’t make the game pay to win. You still have to research the traits, farm the materials, or spend loads thousands of gold buying the material. Then you must upgrade it. Nothing pay to win about that. This game isn’t pay to win and saying added in features in DLC/ expansions as an excuse is absolutely pathetic. By no means does this give you a far superior advantage and if anything you must work to get the new feature. How it works when new content is released. You’re not going to be grated some magical “I win button” no. Swift has counter play, even if it’s OP it’s still meh. L2p and stop crying about p2w because that is by far the WORST excuse ever used.

Stop proving my point you're making things easier for me .d
''Just because you can’t afford a new DLC doesn’t make the game pay to win''
This is exactly what people said back when f2p mmorpgs was a popular thing. This is not like getting locked out of a map or battlegrounds game mode. This is people being able to specialize their builds much more than you do because they paid for it and you didn't or couldn't.
and calling l2p on this? lmao, do you mean learn to pay or are you actually that ignorant? I made a point up there and supported it with solid reasoning. Jewelry being hard to grind does not change a flippin thing. When transmuting was introduced it was not pay to win at all because even though it was expensive and limited, non paying users could still use a station in someone's house, so even though it required more effort it was not pay to win. jewelrycrafting would be also fine if transmuting jewelry would not make them bound, so people who paid for the expansion would have the ability to help the others or profit from this. Which would make it a totally fine system.
If your only way of access to a power up is through paying, then it is a clear example of pay to win, accept it or keep living with delusions.
also oh my god dude, you would make the perfect EA customer... I bet yer a big fan of battlefront 2 aswell. hell, even that game allowed people to slowly grind their way up instead of paying for stuff.

The logical fallacy is on your side.
You're twisting the common meaning of pay-to-win (paying ingame to obtain ingame advantages) to create a straw man (the gear bought independently from a game does NOT turn the game itself into pay-to-win).
Apart from your aggressive tone and telling everyone to l2p, you don't have a leg to stand on.
The edge provided by swift, both in defence and offence, is just too good to pass up.
The trait provides unique stats that food or gear can't offset, and as a result, it has been widely adopted by those who could.
That edge is blocked behind a paywall - forever, and unavoidably so, in the case of BoP jewelry.
Now *that*'s pay-to-win.
(It's the first time I've thought this was really the case for ESO).

Well I really think Stam sorc has some of the best synergy with swift; another is melee magplar.
It's not as attractive on mag sorc or Magden
Healthden is a lumbering beast anyway; I don't feel the difference as much on him either.
My gold swift is on my Stam sorc that's how much I love it
Yeah swift on a magplar is the bees knees I love using it. The synnergy with mist to get los then barswap and sprint. I want to try it on stam sorc but I only have vet mag classes.ll my stam are still lowbie.Swift is op in terms of open world mobility and it is honestly pay to win.
Or l2p
Lol it is pay to win in my opinion. And the way you comment makes me feel you spend very little time in cyro.
If you think this game is pay to win, you’re probably a low cp noob in cyro who dies a lot and finds anything as an excuse to complain.
Lol you're just...... yeah.....
I'm not saying anything needs to be nerfed. The guys asking what best jewelry trait is. I said swift because it is imo, and I am allowed to have my opinion, get over it.
I'm calling jewelry crafting as a whole pay to win, I don't like the idea of gear being locked from part if the population unless you pay. Also my opinion, which I'm allowed to have. Can good players win without jewelry crafting? Yes. Does jewelry crafting give you an advantage? Again yes. In my book that p2w
If you don't think swift is strong I can't take any opinion you have serioisly because you obviously have no idea how to use it

Ask a friend to make a crafted set with jewlery, or smiply buy it from some crafter. Yes you won't be able to retrait some BoP jewlery but there are some nice crafted sets you could use in PvP. What about sets from DLCs, another P2W? Company needs to make money somehow, I prefer this way than selling us one time vouchers to do some sheit. Pay once, use limitless, it could be much worse.

I get your point about dlc gear, and I understand zos needs to make money, it is a buisness afterall. But jewelry crafting gives an advantage that the latest flavor of the set doesn't exactly give.
I mean think of this hypothetical. What if alchemy was locked behind a dlc? I'm sure people would be in here going "but pots drop open world!" "Alliance war pots give weapon buff!". Yeah thats true, but you're not gonna get that immovable speed pot, which gives an advantage.
I have never thought thing in this game was p2w. Transmute was close, but you could still grind out what you needed, transmute just made it easier. But there is no way your getting jewels unless you pay. Yeah you can have craftable from a buddy, but lets be honest, zone sets are already weak compared to dungeon.
How long you’ve been playing for is completely irrelevant since your lack of knowledge of the games showing by thinking it’s p2wleepalmer95 wrote: »Swift is op in terms of open world mobility and it is honestly pay to win.

Lmao, calls me lacking knowledge, okay rando.
You're saying the ability to transmute + change jewellery traits isn't isn't an advantage?
Lets ignore the fact some traits are only available if you have jewellery crafting and the fact these traits are far better choices than standard arcane/ robust. Again you need to pay.
Or ignore the fact that nirn is bis and the only way to get that on weps is too transmute them which you need to pay for. Because 5/5/2 is the best all round setups for pvp and most of the crafted sets aren't good. Most builds uses 2x dropped sets + monster helm.
Or ignore the fact that some dlc gear is OP, e.g. asylum 2h is stupidly strong, vma destro is needed in pve to compete, vma bow is needed in vma to compete, sets like zaan is needed in pve to compete, earthgore is bis healer set for pvp etc...
Someone buys the base game and doesn't get any of that.
Someone buys all dlc's are get it all.
Are you really going to sit here and tell me that this fact isn't pay to win, if someone pays more money than they did to buy the base game they aren't going to have an advantage.?
Or are you going to sit there and try to persuade other and yourself by the sounds of it that your money is giving you an advantage.
It's cute getting called out by someone who been on the forum for 3 months and has a hate for mag sorc's and nb. Likely a easy mode magplar right?
