This is one of my most anticipated changes. While it is a waste of time for you, it is a very welcome quality of life change for many people and most likely doesn't require a large amount of dev resources.
Ok, we fought and won weapon dyes.
We fought and won character order change.
Next goal is... HIP FLAPS TOGGLE!

"Quality of life" seems to be thrown out whenever someone cant justify real reasoning.
Like I said in my first post, waste of developer time. I will wait for the outrage posts on how someone screwed something up or accidentally deleted a character because of the new system and be reminded that this wasn't broken and didnt need to be fixed.
next thing on my QOL request list would be batch crafting, espechially for glpyhs / provisioning / potions.
tho my current rage is 99% focused on the lack of HDR on console grrr

Either Mat Firror or Rich Lambert I can't remember which mentioned multicrafting about 2 years ago. I think provisioning may be what is holding it back. Buying cheep ingredients and making them to sell to vendor at a profit is possible. Some people already do this using multicrafting addons to set it and forget it while they go afk. If it could be instant more people would do it and that would bring more inflation into the game. Bringing brand new gold into the game on a grand scale can be a big issue.

wow, didnt know that. But if PC players can do it via Add Ons and its not caused big issues you'd think its ok for consoles but thats interesting to hear a reason!
Mind you they are injecting a free 100K for everyone this month, unsure if thats a good thing for the long run!

It may not get a lot of fireworks and fanfare but that does not mean this sort of effort is unappreciated. I'm also excited about some quality of life discussions they've made about PvP and the bridges and all the rest of it they're doing. If they can deal with some of the weird stutters in Cyrodiil that would be nice.
It should waste all of about 20 minutes.MerlinPendragon wrote: »This is a waste of developer time and very unnecessary.

It's an ordered list, and the only thing that changes is the visual implementation of it.
This should absolutely not be difficult to code, at all. It should auto sort based on time played, with last played as the default selected.
They should be adding filtering/hiding and favorites for craft menus next. (Again, something that should have been in game since the beginning.)

Other Merlin - I never trust a forums response about how long coding something should take. Estimates are always wrong and everything is always presumed to be easy peasy, when it isnt. The armchair IT people on this forum often dont have a clue. Furthermore, if there is even a single instance in which this screws someone up by way of an accidental deletion or otherwise, the time spent to clear it up by affected players and staff will far exceed 20 minutes .
If it ain't broke, dont fix it. Like I said, waste of developer time IMO. Resources and time should be focused elsewhere. .
