Will we ever get this fixed? I don't care who's problem it is. Get. It. Fixed.
I am sick and tired of being booted from the game during a Dolmen/Dungeon/Trial, only to run into login issues trying to get back in, and to find the boss taken down without me, AGAIN. The lack of effort on ZOS's part is APPALLING. If my tech team that I work with treated their main responsibilities with the same lackluster effort to fix one of the biggest cockups, they'd be fired, and the rest of us would drop what we were doing to satisfy the demands of the customer. Yet ZOS keeps pretending it doesn't happen, or that it isn't their fault.
I don't see why Steam users are being ignored, just because you can't figure your *** out? The solution is simple. Clone the data (that's all it is folks, just numbers on a hard drive), give us a new product key that we can use OUTSIDE of Steam, and copy the data back in. Disable our old account so we can't jump back and forth, and there you go. Happy customer.
I subbed when this first started happening, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I almost went and bought a copy directly through ESO, but ZOS said they had a solution, so I waited. Now I have hundreds of hours invested, and I don't feel like starting from scratch. Thanks a lot.
And before anyone starts with "are you sure it's not your internet/network?" I am a network administrator for a city, I have thoroughly inspected my setup. Not to mention my wife plays ESO with me, and we have never both been booted at the same time. 300mbps internet, full gig internal network, managed switch, and QOS enabled for our PCs to make sure that we have the best chance of getting data to and from. It's not my network. It's yours.
