It was a joke, but honestly, it might be possible that ZOS is gearing up for PvP to play a bigger role in ESO. If we look at the classes, none of them offer much in the "fast-paced" department compared to NB. DKs and templars are slow, Sorc is boring with a fixed rotation, and wardens? Well wardens are the "we need a 5th class, but have no idea how to implement it, so let's just throw a bunch of things together nonsensically."
In this case, imagine if ESO were to create single-player BG modes. Who will represent them? A DK holding block? A templar spamming heal? A sorc shielding all the time? A warden...well being a warden? No! Those would not excite potential new players enough to come and play this new mode + sign up for ESO. Instead it would be better to have them all the victims in such an advertisement and the solo-insta-gank-god-NB be the victor standing over all of them in a 12-man deathmatch. You know it and I know it too that would be the most effective advertisement for ESO if they had single player 12 man deathmatches or other modes. I can see the CGI now! Yes, I can see it!
Veteran players will be like "lol, no tank would ever fall like that..." but players that don't know any better would be drawn by the possibility of "ruling over all," "conquering all," and lastly "being the best." They will come and ask "how can I be like that guy in the video" (no joke this happened in the game many times in the game's chat when new members came for Morrowind expansion). "Oh that class is NB..." Now whether or not they are able to actually pull that off won't matter, ZOS would have made their money and have successfully promoted the game.
Wait...what if all of this was a ploy to get someone to ask a question, then get someone to answer it, then a question is answered about that and somehow a vaiable marketing strategy discussion would emerge...Oh my god....

One class to rule them all, one class to find them, One class to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
It will be hit by the nerf hammer and people will qq on the forums about the next op class as always, people just forget that groups in Homestead consisted of 1 stamplar and 7 magsorcs but that’s fine. Today is the closest we’ve been to balance, with stamina having the chance to step foot in trials.

And in the darkness to nerf them...

Second, of course nobody sane would take that seriously. It's a shame they just can't remove/nerf everything that kills you isn't it? /S
i knew, i swear i always knew it...not for one moment did i ever truly believe you were really some young, hot asian chick, nor some big beefy, hairy and sweaty football player...definitely not some chocolate rabbit - cuz, well that would be crazy...
all the time i knew you wuz really pennsylvania ...

you got so paranoid, forgotting about the sorc rule over past 3 years

I was not the op of the original thread. The only thing I suggested is that the thread was closed prematurely vs some of the sorc ones. Plus the ambiguous "under review" by the mod didn't bode well seeing the thread didn't have any more baiting than the typical nerf this thread.
And it's funny how fast the nightblade brigade comes in to derail a thread in hopes that it will fly under the radar or get tossed out by a mod.
Figure out how to play your preferred class, and stop expecting to pawn every person you come across. You win some, you lose some. You kill and die to nice people sometimes, and at other times they are angry immature animals. Good sorcs will kill you if they get the upper hand, same with a good NB. Also depends how many enemies are around etc. Its strange how many people run around Cyrodiil seemingly expecting everyone to line up and duel 1 by 1.

I think that is part of what annoys people about Nightblades, they are the best at cherry picking fights. What some people forget, they have to be by design. They don't have the depth of defensive capacities that a DK or stamden have in their arsenals.

It’s a conspiracy I tell ya! Are you manufacturing tin foil hats for the rest of your Sorc friends?

They have up to 25% DMG reduction without even counting armour stats. What do you mean...shade and dark cloak
