I'm actually surprised bots don't congregate in the Jerall Mountains of the DB DLC.
It's a one way trip yes and takes a bit of quests to reach, maybe an hour of work- but only players on a specific quest can go to that area and get instanced with you, and even better - the respawn rates in the Jerall Mountains are broken a.f.
Truly it would be the most effective place to bot - both for hiding yourself, and for gaining resources. Your chances of seeing another player there are easily under 1% on any given day. If you had a bot in there for a week you'd leave richer than sin.
No idea why they park their characters in such obvious places... I guess it's because there's no real fear ZOS will do a thing about them so they just don't care -_-

They would need access to more than just the base game on all umpteen accoints.

Very true, I didn't consider the cost of DB DLC. Still, I can only speak from a 3rd party perspective, but were I them and doing this crap for financial gain, the investment would payoff 10x over.
It's always the worst though to find a swarm of them out in the wild, I'd rather that if they do it - they do it out of sight of me xD They need proper GMs in this game again or else this will never end...
Metal Gear Solid character.
He picked that name because it means Otaku Convention (part of his charm is he's a cringy weeb and he knows it)

Thank you for posting a video.
The funny thing is, there's like 5 or 6 bot hot spots that they are always at on Xbox NA. If they just had a gamemaster patrol those few areas regularly and ban them on the spot then the bot problem would be mitigated drastically.
Hell I'll do it for free if they want me to.
Yes rubberbanding is far the most common but you can also get controllers who can be programmed, this let you have some rotation, as in lay down aoe, trigger pets, do an healstarkerealm wrote: »I'm actually surprised bots don't congregate in the Jerall Mountains of the DB DLC.

It's adding cost to the operation, and time. If one of these bots is identified and banned, it can be replaced in under an hour with a fresh game key. Replacing an account with DB? That's at least tripling the price, probably substantially more.
