Can’t really tell what’s going on since I’m looking from a small screen. Just see Sorc let’s.

But apparently bots can exist in consoles. My guess is the console is emulated on a PC or somehow they can provide macros/sets of commands via the console. Either way they hack to get they accounts free.

I don't even mind those bots so much anymore. Going to a zone and finding a bot crouched on every resource node is far more annoying.

I've reported them before in Rivenspire. Heavy attacks and lightning form pickup and repeat.

My solution is to put a Troll/mini dolmen anchor wherever these bots appear. They usually aren't built to handle more than small trash mobs and are low level. Adds that knockdown or uppercut with strong follow ups are ideal to interrupt these bot parties and possibly eliminate them.

Seriously hacks, exploits you name it.. If it works on PCs it works on consoles as well.. There are companies making a lot of money out of these...

I'm actually surprised bots don't congregate in the Jerall Mountains of the DB DLC.

It's a one way trip yes and takes a bit of quests to reach, maybe an hour of work- but only players on a specific quest can go to that area and get instanced with you, and even better - the respawn rates in the Jerall Mountains are broken a.f.

Truly it would be the most effective place to bot - both for hiding yourself, and for gaining resources. Your chances of seeing another player there are easily under 1% on any given day. If you had a bot in there for a week you'd leave richer than sin.

No idea why they park their characters in such obvious places... I guess it's because there's no real fear ZOS will do a thing about them so they just don't care -_-

Camlorn has always been a bot hot spot on console. This is not the first thread to be posted about it. I used to post threads about the bot epidemic on Xbox NA but i got sick of people popping in just to tell me that "bots can't exist on console."

Thank you for posting a video.

The funny thing is, there's like 5 or 6 bot hot spots that they are always at on Xbox NA. If they just had a gamemaster patrol those few areas regularly and ban them on the spot then the bot problem would be mitigated drastically.

Hell I'll do it for free if they want me to.

They would need access to more than just the base game on all umpteen accoints.

Very true, I didn't consider the cost of DB DLC. Still, I can only speak from a 3rd party perspective, but were I them and doing this crap for financial gain, the investment would payoff 10x over.

It's always the worst though to find a swarm of them out in the wild, I'd rather that if they do it - they do it out of sight of me xD They need proper GMs in this game again or else this will never end...

Yes. There are plenty on Xbox one also. Sometimes I see alot more lag with them at the dolmens. Really annoying so I just leave and try to get on a different server but they are everywhere.

He picked that name because it means Otaku Convention (part of his charm is he's a cringy weeb and he knows it)

It's adding cost to the operation, and time. If one of these bots is identified and banned, it can be replaced in under an hour with a fresh game key. Replacing an account with DB? That's at least tripling the price, probably substantially more.

Same. It’d help if there were better reporting tools.

yep, it's called "rubber-banding". That's where you take your controller and use a rubber band to hold down heavy attack. Just point your character to a known spawn location and let your pets do the actual work.

Yes rubberbanding is far the most common but you can also get controllers who can be programmed, this let you have some rotation, as in lay down aoe, trigger pets, do an heal
On pc you have actual boots who looks like causal nobs but are stupider than npc, farming a few overland trash and don't response to dolemn is kind of obvious :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
