I sometimes like to do mag dps and sometimes stam dps. Then I go pvp and I need one hand and shield, heavy armor etc.
The argument everyone says that there is enough skill points, is not true I confirm 100% and I have every skill point in the game except from cyro ranks above prefect.
This can't be serious.

Patch notes state this is an UI issue only and the cost is 1 gold despite. It's acknowledged in "Known Issues".
It is not charging 1g, it removed the figures I gave earlier,
but the 550k amount was the amount that that character was carrying at that time

Known Issue: The respec cost will appear to multiply for every skill point instead of being 1 gold. This is strictly a visual issue, and you can rest assured the cost is indeed just 1 gold.
ah as i read it, its not the gold u have in ur inventory, its some kind of maths mistake, multiplying for each skillpoint instead of adding?
i am just wondering, because even tho its only a visual error, it might mean, that people, not having 100k, 200k or 500k to put into their ivnentory, depending on situation, arent able to reset their complete skillpoints for a while, since the dialogue blocks the option to reset then.

Yeah that's the real issue and right between annoyingly embarrassing and unbelievably hilarious.
No it is not a math problem
I checked my gold before and after and the figures I quoted where what was deducted from the characters balances
What is worse is the displayed totals are not multiples of any obvious figure, as I changed 14 skills, 1 morph and zero
Passing this issue along.
So it appears it is not just bugged & not charging 1g it is bugged and stopping you respec unless you have the bugged amount displayed

It really doesn't, because the patch notes are wrong. While I realize no everyone reads the patch notes this highlights why doing so is beneficial.
