The patch notes state that "We’ve updated the player ability respec system so activating respec mode no longer clears all of your points, but instead allows you to add and remove points from your abilities. You’ll still have the option to remove all points if you want a fresh start, though. We’ve also retained the morph-only option; for a reduced price, you can add and subtract any ability morphs."

did you respec 5 skills or just the morph?

You did get a super awesome 3% buff on a skill that’s only useful for high HP tanks (if anywhere). That’s something. /sarcasm

I haven't gone in yet, but will shortly. However, my two cents - the game has been locking me up, and servers dropping me frequently, since beginning of Midyear Mayhem, at a pace I never experienced in the game b4. I hoped beyond hope that that issue would be resolved with the end of the two overlapped events, however, maybe it did, and it's being replaced by different lockups and DC's because of the new update?

I wanna respec 5 skills (passives) 4 from dual wield skill line when I was using different setup (2 swords for more dmg) on my mag non-meta DK build. as it is not needed anymore thx to the summerset changes to staves i wanna get rid of it. 1 skill I just mistakenly took and also wanna get rid of it

It could be that large amounts of people logging on around the same time causes random crashes. I hope it was that anyway and that I'm wrong, would be great to avoid servers going down again shortly.

And if it was actually bad with plenty of people having same issues, there'd probably be several threads on it by now so maybe it's ok after all.

Want to know what's worse? There was a thread about this in the PTS forum. As per usual, it seemingly went unnoticed by Zenimax.

I know, had small hope they changed it. I do not need on my main 5 skill : 5 SKILLS, and I need to pay for it 18750 GOLD. Seriously r4tarded. Wasn't it supposed to be flat cost like with CP ?! And I bet Werewolf can still do 60k DPS Light Attackin when MagWardens/ MagPlars still do half the dmg Nb and Sorcs are capable of... Not to mention that Warden is Buy 2 Play Class... I feel betrayed on every patch notes.

A buy to play class that is worse than every free class
