Since the release of One Tamriel, no matter the level all dropped and filled soul gems recharge fully an kind of weapon and revive players of any level, and that made Crown Soul Gems even less valuable since they take another inventory slot and normal soul gems do the same thing.
And now with daily rewards we can get Crown Soul Gems as a daily rewards and from Crown Crates we received for free, which almost removes any reason for us to buy them for crowns in the Crown Store, especially since 10 of them cost 400 crowns, same as, for example, crown repair kits which are far more convenient than normal repair kits.
Suggestion I wanted to make is:
Would you consider making the bought Crown Store Gems (not the ones that we get from crown crates or daily rewards) have a special effect that allows us, once we use them to revive ourselves or another player, to revive for free for next 20 minutes or something along the line? I am pretty sure it would justify their current crown price and make a lot of use for new players that are beginners and are still learning the mechanics of dungeons and getting wiped by a bosses a lot. It wouldn't affect veteran and skilled players in any way.
I am talking about convenience, like the way the crown repair kits work for instance. With one use they instantly repair all of your equipped damaged armor and they are not pay to win in any way, just faster to use when you are in a dungeon or in a hurry. With these soul gems, beginners who just started the game and are burning through normal soul gems would get more incentive to buy the crown variant that would allow them to revive more often and even be more helpful in dungeon runs when somebody dies during a boss fight. It would make more sense for them to cost the same as crown repair kits or crown fortifying meals.
I would like to hear opinions. Is 20 minutes too short/too long? Is there something else that would make them even more convenient but still not pay to win?
