The wall glitch is definitely a bug and ruining the gameplay. But with the ZOS apparent lack of doing any fixing - it's there since months by now - unfortunately you can start consider them as permanent feature
Looking at the trends of issues for a longer time, it shows that they just keep piling up without solving them, which effectively builds up an ever bigger development debt over the time. It will inevitably come crashing down, I don't have high expectation of the future of the game and how long it will be here.
I work in software development and any project manager who would not prioritise this kind of clear and serious bugs for immediate fixing would be fired already. It's not a developer issue, but some level higher where the prioritisation and goal setting should happen, typical managerial stupidness, too much focusing on the immediate revenue generation numbers and sacrifice longterm survivability... which will bite back very hard when the time comes.

Dont forget. Zos ruined their base game many times, and threw out bans/suspensions regardless of if u were aware of the bug or not. But not to the twitch community or
anyone who paid them via crown store.
-remember the 1mil xp kills in sewers last year?
Yes, in fact. Do you?
Players who went into the sewers killed a few things, were getting a CP with every pull, and realized something wasn't right, weren't punished at all.
It's the players who discovered the exploit and then spent 30 or 40 minutes in the sewers farming up hundreds of CP that were banned. Then they scampered onto the forums to cry about it, because they were punished for exploiting a broken system, and couldn't be expected to know when the game was behaving abnormally, even though they'd been talking about it in chat.-Farming for 7th legion/spriggans weapons while the group event boss was bugged and giving out a skill point each kill?
And, again, the players who got one or two skill points out of it, realized something was amiss, and left weren't punished. It was the ones who went in, and were grinding up dozens of skill points who were punished. Then they scampered off onto these boards, and tried to defend themselves by claiming they weren't smart enough to understand that you couldn't, normally, grind Skill Points on a static boss. These are 2 instances where players went about their normal life killing things the way devs intended us to, but got suspended anyway bc the devs broke the most basic part of xp/skillpoint gains.
I think you missed a critical point. In both cases players discovered an easy to execute exploit and then tried to claim idiocy, when they were punished for it.
This is ****ing toddler logic. "You told me I couldn't have candy, but there was all that chocolate on the reception desk, but I didn't know that was candy, so you can't punish me."This specific issue is a game breaking issue and its been here since summerset was on pts.
The fact that u have the audacity to come here and tell us that we will be getting in trouble if we abuse the bug rather then fixing it over the past month plus; is dispicable and disgusting. Shame.
Honestly? You want to abuse this? Go for it. We won't stop you. But don't come back crying, when you're banned for hoovering up all the sweets after you were warned not to take any.

So these players who farm IC/Spriggans had to stop doing what they wanted to do because the developer *** up? I am all for taking away their illicitly gained xp/skill points, but banning people because of zos’s own mistakes? That’s just stupid. Remember, the IC bug was on the date of storage coffer launch, the market price all related telvar items inflated by roughly 20%. I would have gone in and farm IC too if I wasn’t at work, and got banned for trying to make money. Some of my friends who got banned were well over cp cap, what did those illicitly gained xp benefits them?
You can see the wall is broke, you can move right thru it and cast/siege thru it. Why would this be an exploit? How did I cause this and how can i counter it's use?
It depends on how it is affecting the game. If I can't defend or siege due to it's existence I should be able to use it.

No, you don’t get banned for anything in this game

You can “Fix” the wall being “Broken” for you by typing /reloadui in your chat window.
You see a floating door in the broken wall...you Know something is wrong.
You can still siege the wall and damage it as usual
