Dark Cloak Morph for NBs...duration too short and still in line with invisibility

I think the duration of the skill is still taking invisibility into consideration as a 3 second minor protection buff is quite awful especially considering the skill costs 3700 magicka.
Its impossible to constantly cast this skill for somebody trying to play a different nightblade style and the heal is too low for PVP imo but I suppose thats up for debate.

Compared to the 20+ seconds Wardens get for minor protection, NB's dark cloak should be buffed to around 10-15 seconds imo and the heal to be adjusted too.

What do you think nightblades?

It's a tank skill akin to Green Dragon Blood (DK), Clanfear (Sorc), or Arctic Blast(Warden) where your healed on max hp %. In comparison it's actually pretty good to the other. The duration is short, sure, but clanfear is based on a pet so it can die, takes 2 slots, and has no buffs. Arctic Blast is too long, so it provides sustained heals, but wardens want a burst heal. It's not meant for pvp DD which is what you might be playing.

Admittedly I don't play Nightblade, but compare that skill to the others and you will see they each have their pro's and con's and understand it may not be meant for your play style. Your comparison would be more akin to the major ward/resolve buff every class has that is around 20seconds long as a buff. Eg. Boundless Storm/Hurricane (Sorc), Frost Cloak (Warden), Rune Focus (Templar).

A buff to 5 seconds would be reasonable in my opinion. The heal is already great in PvE for tanking. With Jurvolds Guidance that would put it some where around 7 seconds. Perfect balance I think. PvP wise I have no idea, lets balance some skills around PvE for a change.

Probably the most confusing thing is that, having 15 characters and 3 of each class, one of my 3 NB has this morph (which I chose long before the change to a heal) and the animation still looks just like invisibility cloak... I've died quite a number of times thinking "how can stuff see me? ow! eek!!!"

I actually theorycarfted and tested numerous builds on my magblade to make this skill viable for heals in PvP. What I found out is that after hitting the 30k hp mark and having high crit chance the heal becomes extremely potent, much butter than vigor. Sadly the duration is quite short, and the uptime of minor protection is way too low. This skill isn't meant to be a spammable, so the uptime of minor protection should be at least 5 seconds. Haven't tested in PvE, but I guess its even stronger there.
