Glitching through outpost walls

Whenever it happens to me I simply ignore it and just siege normally. And if there is relatively low lag I type /Reloadui in chat - this fixes the problem, but there is a short loading screen.

Using a glitch, whether you caused it to happen or not, is an exploit. Bypassing the need to siege down the walls, accidentally or on purpose, is an exploit. In the link I put above, ZOS points out that bypassing the need to siege down walls/doors is a bannable offense (though as far as I know they haven't taken action on anyone for this exploit, currently.)

A big problem with this is that it is possible to flip a keep without siege or exploiting. Just stealth, let the enemies take it and after everyone left take it back.

The difference there is that you have to already have legitimately gotten access to the inside of the keep in order to stealth inside.

So there's no bypassing the need to siege walls like there is when a DK leaps over the wall, or a Nightblade ambushes through a door, or players run through an invisible wall.

I would really rather ZOS fix their game.

I've only just returned to this game after about 2 years. Good to see nothing has really changed, and PvP, like in just about every other game, is still full of people who feel the need to cheat, or exploit to gain the advantage.

This seals the decision to stay the hell out of there. Shame, but it is what it is.

Why don't they just hot patch the postern wall bug(glitch)?
Oh wait they can only fix things at major updates. /sigh

It's not even a glitch. The walls are failing to go back to "fixed" state and remain invisible for some players. I've seen doors (at 100%) but they are physically separated as if they were damaged and almost breached. So doors, walls, etc. are not updating for some players.

As far as ambushing, that's usually accidental. Not the nb's fault the player they are attacking has to mash the button to get inside a door that's slow to respond and it warps them into the keep with the player when they/were legitimately just trying to attack the player.

As far as 30 day campaigns are concerned, this glitch doesn't have a large impact on the outcome at least. However it is annoying to be defending something only to get ganked on siege when there are no breaches.

This is one of those bugs that is really frustrating. The first time I encountered a glitched door, it honestly looked like it was down. It wasnt until I got passed it that I could see that the actual door was still there. I got up to the top of the keep, not gonna lie, I killed a few as they started attacking me, and than realized we were still on the front door, so I simply jumped down. I am sure to those poor souls, I looked like this terrible exploiter, but the reality was that I simply ran through a door that looked open. Hard to see this as a bannable offense, unless there is clear evidence of people doing it over and over.

I would make the same argument for a night blade ambush. Any body that has played NB has done it at one point. You are trying to kill a guy before he gets inside, you gap close and all of a sudden you are surrounded inside the keep. More often than not, it goes bad for the NB, not the other way around.

    It happens in reverse too.

There have been a handful of times this week that a front door is still there for me, barring my path, while everyone else packs up their siege equipment and heads in.

I've seen siege go through the glitched walls as well.
