Why? The area is so wide open the chance of any random encounters of people actually wanting to PvP would be rare. Instead all you would have is gankers in town and around wayshrines people might port to for dailies.

They could allow for private battlegrounds with more options. 1 v 1, or 2 v 2 v 2 or whatever combination you want. Remove the queue system from these private closed versions of battlegrounds and make it for premades only so you can run tournaments through the system.

Another option might be to allow a pvp toggle in homes. Basically allow people to create their own battle arenas for various sized groups. Sure, you can duel there now, but a 2 v 2 or 12 v 12 brawl would be a great option.

4v4 or 8v8. Certainly not 1v1. Besides that there is no reason for tournaments. Rankings for BGs are fine.

They should make a MOBA arena 3v3 and a 5v5 with mini adds helping you! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
