May I ask,
since when ZOS doesnt anymore ask a GM of a guild wether he accepts to leave gm position and wether to give the GM title to another person?
Once upon a time ZOS did.

Now we learned, even though the GM talked/talks with his officers about a time of inactivity (studies), is in contact with them via discord and everyone is helping and supporting that time, one greedy officer is able to occupy the guild and robb the guild by ZOS giving him GM without informing the actual GM via Mail? Once upon a time, ZOS did that.

This is totally uncool...

So... What you are saying is....

A guild master has been inactive for a time. An officer in the guild contacted Zeni. Zeni removed the inactive person from the GM spot and promoted the officer to guild master. That officer/guildmaster emptied the guild bank into their personal bank.

Discord, other conversations, that's all irrelevant because it happens outside of some way that zeni can log and track it. Basically, all zeni sees is that the gm hasn't logged in for a while, so they made the change in ranks themselves.

Have I captured the essence of the actual series of events?

If so, then the other officers should complain and Zeni should revert the changes. Even the guild bank looting, because it came about due to a change that zeni performed.

If a guild master is going to be out of game for an extended time (one month as a minimum) they should appoint one guild officer as temp guild master. Make sure the other officers are cool with it first of course. And stay in contact via discord or other methods.

Thats my thinking though. Really ZOS should offer the GM position to all in the next rank in an auto email. That way they can communicate about whats going on before hand

What usually happens is that a GM goes AWOL indefinitely, and the guild have the devil of a job to be able to appoint someone else as GM as @ZO$ are less than helpful when approached about the matter.

the guy seemingly hasnt been in bank access rank, other people had and were higher ranked. so what are u guys trying to tell me?

once upon a time, zos did contact thew actual gm via mail for his approval to change the gm and waited 14 days for his response, before they changed anything or promoted someone.

The gm did not log in for a long time - correct?

The lower ranked officer went to zeni and got them to make change - correct?

The newly-promoted gm looted the bank - correct?

Sounds to me like the GM was inactive and Zos promoted a random.. to be guild lead who then robbed the guild.

This smells fishy....and seems the bait was taken.

I've never seen a game company manually promote somebody to guildmaster, especially somebody below the next lowest rank as the posts seem to indicate. That's beyond fishy.

actually i dont see any reason why zos is interfering into a guild process, while zos staff hasnt any overview over the guilds situation, about the who is who and their intentions. if someone doesnt have guild bank accesss, then maybe for a good reason. only a gm should decide, what happens with his guild, even if he is inactive a while, its his choice, how the guild goes on, even if everybody is going into a new guild, because of his inactivity. but in this case there was no reason to interfere at all, because peopole have been keeping care for the guild, people have been recruiting, have been making the bids. everything was okay, till zos came.
