Do we underestimate light attack spammers. How high can you get yours?

On my standard MagNB pve setup I managed to get 18-19k, Zaan+Siroria was used. A purely light attack based cheesy build can easily go above 20k, maybe some people could also manage 25k, idk actually. I guess we’ll see in later comments. I deliberately didn’t mention WWs, I know how ridiculous numbers are possible in Wolfhunter.

When all the right buffs are applied, they can hit pretty high.

Kinda worries me that no one mentions combining light attack bonus sets. Elegance + Infiltrator, for instance. Not sure if tossing in Elemental Weapon, Empower or other buff skills would count. Makes me wonder if there's some way that Martial Knowledge could conceivably be semi-useful.
ahh infiltrator my first 5piece :'(

Played games since coin arcade days. Collectively the whole gaming industry printed it in my head that:
light attack = fast, low power, instant attacks and
heavy attack = slow, very powerful, usually have a cast time or power build up time.

So ESO is doing it the other way around, "there is no spoon", then why not call it what it is, why call it "light and heavy", which it is not.

So let me translate the 2 weapon attacks ESO have:

Damage attack (single fast button press)= fast very powerful attack with no cast time and
Resource attack (holding in the attack button for some time)= slow attack which give resource back at end of attack, this comes in 2 types, one channel the attack over couple sec and the other build up the attack over time and release as one shot at the end of attack and give resources on enemy hit.

So calling the attacks for what they are makes more sense to me than trying to override 30 years of gaming experience telling me otherwise.

Well these numbers have opened my eyes as at the minute I'm running a heavy attack build but I ran a light attack and a heavy attack run without any self buffs or skeleton debuffs and I got
    Light attacks - 12981/s
    Heavy attacks 10228/s

They recently changed the weighting’s so light gives better dps than heavy.

It’s now light for damage and heavy for sustain. It’s not very intuitive and if people did not read patch notes they won’t know.
