Mag DK support build?

I have a magdk that I'm trying to gear up for mid-year mayhem. I've tried playing SnB and destro on the character before but I really struggled with healing. I've also enjoyed playing support builds on all of my other mag characters. Does anyone have any ideas for a support build for mag dk?

    So in the realm of support theory crafting. Had anyone tested to see if molten armaments and elegant buff Mend wound heals?

    I play Destro SnB. Promblem with HEALS? Look. Run 5 light 1 and 1. A sustain set like Desert Rose. Slot Volitile Armor, Cauterize, Fragmented Shields, Coagolating Blood. Burning Embers. Run talons and fossilize to proc Power Lash. Heals for days.

    The best way for a Magdk to “support” the team is to KILL PEOPLE! Lol.

    Imo there are 2 viable support builds.
    1. Defile tank, providing talons and shifting standard synergies for people.
    2. Ignious shield build with bone shield. (60k hp spamming ignious shield on everyone + bone shield for them to synergize)

    Igneous Shield is really weak, and in PvP is halved by Battle Spirit. Also in BGs you can't stack that much health since you're missing the 20% CP multiplier.

    Solo or in groups?
    If solo, just trow healing springs at everything that moves.

    In groups, keep your destro + sword´n board, and throw some Energetic Orbs into the enemy group before charging at them with your Destro Ulti and stuff.

    Alternatively, you could aid your group´s sprint bot by throwing 2 retreating manoevres every 12 seconds. This is possible if you spam Cinder Storm at enemies that are going to be overrun.

    That being said, Sorcs at much better as a specialist supporter (either purge or rapid), and wardens are much better as a generalist supporter (purge + heal + rapids).

    You COULD use mend wounds, but I hardly know anyone who uses this in PvP because it is really hard to use in such an environment.
