My theory on keep recall stones

I have a very solid feeling that with the keep recall stones; they are going to heavily limit blood porting to a certain radius around a keep; where to scan only port to a keep you're in the radius of if you die; and keep recall stones will be used to teleport to any keep you control whether it's connected to the transit or not similar to current blood porting; if I'm right then PvP is about to get hella interesting and more strategic

    My guess is they'll be something to allow players to port to keeps and outposts controlled by their faction. Perhaps even when flagged. Maybe it's a solution to pvdoor.

    My guess is that it will be the old Forward Camps where you could spawn anywhere.

    You may be right, but recalling to a keep under attack would unfortunately encourage even more people to stack on top of each other.

    And this is why I’ve cancelled my sub and will not be pre purchasing any more content. If the DLC goes live and looks good I’ll resub. If the next chapter brings good core changes I’ll buy. I’m so done believing anything ZOS says or having any faith in PTS. I’ll believe in the future if this game when it arrives lol.

    Considering we used to be able to blood port to any forward camp from anywhere on the map and Zos did not like how that was being used I expect there will be something different about these stones that will limit their use significantly.

    Certainly we can speculate but we will not know anything until we get an actual description of their use.

    Seems interesting. Like the catapult improvements, this might be good if implemented correctly to help change things up a little. The ESO pvp can get old doing the same keeps, strategies, and map over and over.

    Sigil of Imperial Retreat in the Imperial CIty currently costs 10k AP and it teleports the player to their alliance's base in the Imperial City Sewers. You can have more than one of these in you inventory and they stack. The cost is worth it if you want to immediately bank your stones without leaving the city.

    The new item is called a Keep Recall Stone. These could be priced the same as the sigils in IC, but they could also be made cheaper if zos wants to encourage frequent use of the item. Due to the naming I doubt it will only send the player to their gate. It would be great if it allows a player to travel to any keep that their faction owns. Essentially deathporting without the messiness (keeping dat K/D intact ;) ). Of course, it might just send the player back to the most recent intact keep that they last visited, which I don't think will be the case, since the last few keeps someone had visited could all be flagged. It might also simply teleport you to the closest intact keep.

    If priced at around 10k I think it would be reasonable for it to work like a deathport.

I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    They will most like work like a blood port but cost you 10k-20k AP. That makes the most sense, and it's not really game breaking as you could still die and get the same effect for free. It's more immersive than you dying to get a port to a keep that's been cut off but not burst, as well as combat the counterintuitive strategy of leaving a home resource uncapped.
