How would it work? Would it be group finder or something else? Who would lead it? Would it be crown?
How would find people worth right gear or even experience?

Its not that simple.
There's a lot of people complaining about not being able to finish dlc dungeons with group finder groups, and dlc trials would be even more problematic (they require tanks, healers and some of them have special mechanics that lead to a group wipe if you fail them). Veteran versions will be literally impossible.

Id prefer a guild or group carry option like in Destiny 2... you earn an ingame reward for carrying / helping a few players... the harder the trial the better the reward...
Those applying need to meet some criteria and cant just spam applying... maybe 3 credits a week or something -

Tasear is elitist? Lol you have not met real elitist. Being very subpar and expect complete trial is nothing but entitlement. No one has responsibility to carry snipe spammers. Potato want skin need to either pay up to sellers or git gud and join big decent guilds with open run vmol vhof.

orubor✭✭Seeing as people will queue for a fake role in dungeons and that I’ve been in plenty of vet dungeons where people just don’t meet the standards, it would make for terrible PUGs.
I don’t think there is any way a finder could prevent fake roles and even putting a cp160 level minimum for vet trials wouldn’t turn out well. People can be cp500 and still be performing poorly in any role.
There are a lot of guilds that do trials frequently or even just focus on any group stuff. Step into Craglorn and other busy zones (Elden Root, Wayrest, Mournhold, etc) and drop a ‘LF XYZ trial PST’ and it shouldn’t take too long to get a group.
Besides, trials require more coordination and communication than PUGs are capable of. It would be a sh*t show.Edited by orubor on July 4, 2018 11:37PM -

- 2 tanks 2 healers 8 DPS? 1 tank 2 healer 9 DPS? how many of which roles are needed to form a group?
- Will there be a random daily trial like random vet dungeon?
- If yes; with what rewards?
- How many players does it take to votekick someone who doesnt play his picked role? (50%+1?)
and for you @Meld777 first off; im not sure if your signature is a joke or dead serious, so im not sure if i should take your reply as joke or serious. let me assume that you are dead serious and utterly hyped about a vet pug HoF run so you get that skin that others sell on a hourly basis (thats what you sound like). well... i wish you all the luck with a random group in vHoF. thing is: the difference between normal crag trials and Vet DLC trials is enormous! just because you can braindead rush nAA doesnt mean same thing works with vHoF.
But yeah, my opinion about it: go ahead, implement it. i will never use it, at least not for vet. And to every thread posted from any player on this forum with the title "elitist vHoF Pug kicked me because i do 15 k DPS" or "fake roles in vMOL trial finder group" or "share your worst story with the trial finder tool" i will post my "told you!" -

Why not ? What is the worst that can happen ? As for normal trials I think some people are overreacting... It is always good to have options. We are not talking about farming achivements or rare skins. Just for gear farming I dont see reason why not (especialy since now we are able to upgrade all types of gear). If you are doing trials on vet you wont be affected. And spending 2h spamming lfg n(enter trial name) is just a waste of time (the very reason why vast majority of players dont do trials. And not every player is willing to join a guild).
Look at this like that:
- Normal Trials group finder = Trials more accessible
- Trials more accessible = more people doing end game pve content.
- More people doing end game pve content = more people hooked and potential players willing to join guild to do vet content.
- In short: more people will be able to learn and generally get better at the game & its mechanics.
Unless of course you expect people to know every single mechanics first time the are dooing a trial. Just think of the very first time you were doing trial. Were you good ? Did you knew the mechanics ? How many times did you got wiped ? etc.
Btw. I would also support group finder for Arenas.

I hate to rain on your day. But you simply won’t get any skin from puggin’ vMOL or vHOF, vAS HM or vCR HM from a “ trial finder”
Reason why, every experienced raider will avoid this like the plague, or simply pick vAA.
The amount of new comers with no raid exp or barely any dps that want trial skins is really high. Even if you made it so that you had to be at the CP cap to que for veteran trials you still wouldn’t make it past the first boss vHOF or second boss vMOL.
Reasons being of low dps, no expierence and no voice coms and no raid leader. No raid leader or even worse a bad raid leader would result in so many deaths, also who’s gonna explain mechanics when 95-99% of the people have never done it before.
Then what you gonna do when the good people leave.
From my own expierence as a veteran raider who’s cleared everything outside of vCR +3 with high scores.
Puggin trials with new raiders only works if you have 5-7 expierenced players to help carry them, in that case if your lucky it might take 1-2 hours, if your unlucky it takes 3-6hours and bucks if patience .
A full 12 man group of pugs with no expierence would take months of progression even for vMOL.
PS- im not against puggin normal trials finder, but I think veteran would just result in such a horrific experience. I mean I don’t even dare use the vet dungeon finder for anything that isn’t base game under fear of 3 people below even 160cp. I have nothing against it but try do DLC dungeon content with 3 160cp’s, it’s possible but it’s gonna take you a good part of your day if they aren’t good players and well geared. Stuff like blood root will take you hours

I'm not disagreeing with most of your statement, but technically you can no longer get CP160s in vet DLC dungeon with the group finder, you're locked out below CP300.

Pug trials and dungeons are a nice place to find a guild or to create one. Pug experience can be a failure, but sometimes is rewarding.
It bypass all that elitist stuff (parses recording, screenshot, and discord interview, as if i was searching for a job
