After the
thread with the Wrothgar dailies was such a success, I thought it was worth a shot to do the same for Summerset.
In my opinion, the Summerset dailies can use the same kind of fixing, mainly
Pilgrimage's End and Culling Serpents. My main point of discontent is the way the quest map circle blob works.
In the past, entering a circled area on your map would, unless the locations were nonspecific (looted items), activate compass markers that showed you where the nearest objectives were. In Summerset, that is the exception rather than the rule.
It works for
Never Forgotten, it does
not work for
Culling Serpents or
Pilgrimage's End.
While I get that you don't want to give away the locations of things like the psijic portals (money quote for that one: "Your map sucks, your order sucks, and everyone who doesn't suck is dead"),
please do change the mechanics for the daily quests.
Daily Quests are meant to be repeatable, and not having the quest objectives show up on the compass is a nuisance.
Thank you for your consideration.
