As far as that goes, there is still lots of unused land on the continent of Tamriel, which I'm sure we would see turned into playable zones before any new continents were used as zones. But if this game keeps a steady player base for long enough, I don't see why we wouldn't branch out to other continents.

There is plenty of space within Tamriel for expansion without going to another continent any time soon. Just adding more space also does not mean anything meaningful has been added. Much needs to be designed, built and staged.

This is the free space on map.
You have the huge south- east area with Elsweyr, black marsh but also Leyawind and the southern part of map in Oblivion.
Lots of land in Hammerfell, vestern skyrim is also huge,

Don't really think ESO will be going to any of those in any future DLC or Chapter for a long time, maybe even never.

Honestly, based on the reaction Summerset received for not having houses "built of glass" I highly doubt the lore community would be amazed for the introduction of more places that have yet to be explored in the Elder Scrolls series, but I can guarantee that people would most certainly be shocked.
