Well. We got commentary and exactly what we said it would be.
“Wait til the incremental patch”.
42 days of broken end game content. Glad I already unsubbed. Tired of paying for broken content.

Tuesday PvP experience after server maintenance PS4 EU.

22min PvP. Total of 4 console freezes and spend most of the time restarting the damn PS4 game. Than logged out of the game...

Thank you Zenimax... fantastic service and don't rush out any fixes since game is working nicely.

I really dont understand why they have no sense of urgency in fixing this. People including myself have spent enough money in this game to not get 10-12 weeks of unplayable content in the past 6 months. Then they have vague responses. But the crown store motiffs, boom instant response from Gina with her responding and giving detailed feedback. Its not even a meme anymore, its obnoxious.

I'm sure you've seen enough data over the years to know a lot of us put in quite a few hours on this game, much more frequently than we probably should...

I haven't noticed any performance increases today, in and out of Cyrodiil.
Freezes happening with same frequency in Cyrodiil, requiring an app restart.
Stutters and almost-restart-requiring freezes occurring with same (read: often) frequency.

Got into several big zerg fights today and had minimal crashes, and I mean minimal as in still too many but compared to previously, much better (6 times instead of the usual 15+)

And to everyone in this thread PLEASE go look up what other mmoss give their players for compensation when stuff like this happens. When those games have issues for a DAY they compensate their players.. Just imagine if the game was busted for years and completely unplayable for a month+....

I wonder why we will never see this from zos? Odd. Theres a difference between being understanding, which i was for well over a year, and being walked on.

Edit* and its certainly not jess or ginas fault, obviously, but i do wonder if they are as confused by how bad this game performs as we are.. Or do they just not know.. Ive said it before and ill say it again, please any zos dev come and try to pvp on xbox at prime time (or not even) when this game isnt having these issues. You will see how bad it normally is.

Freezing still occurring at same rate. Whatever the feature was, it can be ruled out as the cause.

..that basically tells me that they do NOT pinpointed what is the root cause of this utter mess... also earlier post "..they are fixing SOME crashes and freezes..." kind of tells the same story.

As for the PR and customerservice part... well this in your face stuff to all console users. I mean 1,5 months with broken product (The CWR fiasco too long too) with 0 urgency to fix this.

Already proven here that they could do it IF they want to implement emergenct fix.

I'am not happy by any standard .... honestly which other field / profession you can sell broken product without any urgency whatsoever to fix this?

It also raises the question - do they actually have any internal QA? because it sounds like they are going to patch and then expect us to do the QA testing for them.

I think we all know by now that they don't.

Yesterday evening, game crash as I was defending a keep, restart game, pop at the same place, but the keep was now ennemy controlled..
How is that even possible? It's not a bug, it's a basic coding mistake
Not tested yet, but does it mean that if I force close the game while in an attacked keep, wait 2mn and relog, I have a good chance to be able to attack an ennemy keep from the inside?

Before the "fix" on console I only used to lag/crash on pvp, and now even Pve content and questing is a lag festival @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno
Whatever the fix was it didnt make things better, but it made things worse

Last night I had 3 freezes again before I gave up, one of them was once I had logged into the map again, I moved for about 3 minutes before freezing again...Really bad.

To be honest this is not fair on anyone who pays/plays this game, loads of us support it but we are let down nearly every time when a patch is released and the fixes that are released normally end up making things worse... why are they not tested before hitting console?! this is not the first time this has happened! its getting ridiculous now. The only thing that HAS improved is that we do get ZOS telling us information of when things will be done, which I thank for that at least we are not left completely in the dark.

I hate to bring up the word "compensation" but this game has been broken since Summerset was released, and all of us paid for a broken game.Now we have to wait for a fix that "May fix some crashes and freezing"... seriously? what are we paying for?

I thought it was obvious they didn't know before that comment. Shifting timeline from 6-2 weeks etc. Plus, their track record. You would think 2 years would be enough time to fix most things and the fact most issues have a reoccuring pattern.

Oh @ZoS, if I play my stam warden plague build, basically sylistrix syvarras pillar of nirn with bow and growing swarm, I am garanteed to crash 25 times an hour. If I play my mageblade which is more direct dmg 2 times an hour.

The thing is suspect is that dots amd hots etc in trial content umm ok. In pvp cyro, server cannot keep up. I also noticed with the disease built at some point the server just stops caring about calculating the dmg. Remember what happened in morrowind when testing growing swarm without a target cap? Server cannot handle it.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Now a few hours into Cyrodiil. AD offensive siege at BRK against EP. Vivec PS4 NA. High number of enemy AoE effects (EotS, oils, caltrops, etc) produce freeze and crash every 20s, like clockwork.

Small group did not produce freezing, though did witness another group of AD and DC freeze on Alessia bridge. Seems to be whole groups at a time, and at BRK (Blue Road Keep) above my one other group member did feeze with me, at the exact same time.

Frequency of freezing may have decreased slightly, or it could be that larger groups aren't running on AD at the moment.

Also, as an aside a week ago, everyone on AD was logged out to character select (not a freeze, but actual logged out, no error message or server code), and then we all respawned where we were four or five seconds ago. My best guess for that is PSIJIIC magic.

PC has the same problems currently for many of us, and has had awful performance for 2 years. At least console got a thread, on PC it is literally just "normal" after so long.

Last real work on PC perfornance was patch 1.2 to 1.3 that I can remember (Excluding arbitary notes saying improved performance when it has not been). That was in July 2014 lol

Tested Cyro last night and whole groups of people were freezing at key points during keep and resources fights.

Why are you doing this to us??

You see Zos needs to follow suit of epic games and their newest iteration of a game mode called play ground. Yes it did crash when it first released due to a high amount of people joining at the same time so within the first day they disabled it. Every day after that they gave us updates on the issues that were occurring and they actively try to resolve it. That’s how a company should respond and communicate with its player base, that’s why I’m more than happy to spend my weekly disposable income on cosmetics to support the game financially as many others do. As of today the new game mode works good and if does crash again I’m sure epic will actively notify me when it will be up again on a day to day basis. There is no waiting two weeks for a update and than an additional 2 weeks for said update to apply to consoles after pc, quit with this bs Zos.
