✭✭✭✭✭I'll be extremely surprised if they cost more than the elk - which was 4,500 crowns. Normally re-colours cost more, but the dark stag variant was only 4,000, which I suspect was the result of the criticism they received over the normal version.
The only other mounts to cost 4,000 crowns are the Chroma-Blue Dwarven Spider and Hearthfire Kagouti, all the rest have been less than that.
My guess is the green version will be about 2,500 crowns and the glowing one 3,000 - 3,500.PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

JJBoomer✭✭✭✭✭People need to stop comparing this game with Skyrim, Oblivion or even the upcoming game. An MMO is a different creature altogether. MMO rules are different than single player games. And remember, Bethesda has to sign off on all content that ZOS wants to add to the lore of Elder Scrolls.
Why Bethesda okaying fantastical creatures isn't enough for people to be okay with it is beyond me.
but anyway, comparing how things are in the single player ES games, and how things work in ESO is comparing apples and oranges. Different creatures, different rules. That's kind of how it's always been.
For example, there are things in STO that completely contradict the lore of the Trek series. And that's fine. And MMO has an added task of keeping itself interesting to stay alive. In order to do that, Lore sometimes has to take a backseat. Never really ignored, but bent. If you go into lore a bit more open minded, things like this won't bother you so much.
Basically if you don't like the flashy, ridiculous mounts. Don't use them. And ignore them when you see them. No one is forcing you to stare at them on your screen.
But ridiculous mounts have been a staple in MMO's for gods know how long. Regardless of whatever lore. Better to accept that that will never change and just roll with it.Edited by JJBoomer on June 25, 2018 8:37PM0 -

Remember the Elk? God I wanted it so bad, but for that insane price and the fact that it ended up looking weird af. But people bought it. People don't care about their money anymore unfortunately, I see it all the time at my job. Companies doing exactly what ZOS is doing, giving less and less and expecting more. But people take it.0 -

I got the elk for 100gems thanks to a crate (I think it was a free one or it was the one I bought with some leftover crowns after a house)
