Where are the Indrik mounts!? x_x

Can't tell me they split up resources to make not just one but two (at least) Indrik mounts, just to never make them available in-game, don't torture me like that... Is one of them going to be in July Crown Store Showcase, then, in a couple weeks or so?

Or, is an Indrik mount an ultra rare one you can get from Psijic Vault Crown Crates that isn't listed in "Possible Contents" list for them? Has anyone gotten the green or gold/yellow one?

Pretty sure it just simply didnt come out yet. All possible drops are listed in preview.
Magicka sorcerer from start until the end. Always. Through the good times and the bad, even now when its probably saddest PvE dps it has ever been.
Even as an owner of one radiant apex mounts I am against radiant apex mounts and anything thats not obtainable by direct purchase.

That bright silver and gold Dwarven Wolf wasn't listed under the in-game Crown Crate Preview's list of possible contents during the Dwarven Crate season, pretty sure each season has a few super secret things...

If they were going to include the indrik mounts, you know damn right they would have advertised them up the wazoo.
I am predicting next month's crown store showcase.

Datamined information is merely what is found in existing data, not official confirmation of imminent or eventual releases.

Wait for official confirmations of each item.

I think that they are going to be released in July or August. In June we got Summerset and Psijic Vault crates, they want to space out crown items so that their is something to buy each month.

Were they actually announced or just data-mined?

Data-mined items are often discovered weeks or months before they're actually released. If I remember correctly the leopard, panther, clouded-leopard and lion senche mounts were all data-mined at the same time but were released over several months.

Which actually makes sense to me. The artists and designers will create stuff as they have ideas and probably do several versions of each design, but then it's up to other people to decide what should be released and when. If they just dump every idea they have into the store all at once then we'd end up with short periods of being overwhelmed with stuff and people maybe not buying because they can't afford it all/they're waiting for ESO+ to renew, or feel there's too much being pushed on them and then long periods of nothing.

If they were actually announced then the announcement should have given at least an approximate release date.

I really hope these never make it into the game..
Maybe seeing 1 or 2 rarely would be ok, but it will really spoil the immersion to have these fantastical beasts roaming around an otherwise realistic and sombre game.

A realistic game where one type of elf lives in giant mushrooms, another type grows skyscraper sized city trees, a third type of elf can manipulate time, an extinct type of elf can manipulate reality itself, and anchors from a different plane of existence have a habit of dropping from the sky

^^^^ This is why I never leave the Daggerfall area if at all possible... anchors are fine because they are cool... but all those huge mushrooms etc just make me think of No Mans Sky etc so I avoid EP and AD completely

I'm as fussy as anyone when it comes to ES lore, but these people who arrived at the ES universe via Oblivion and Skyrim seem way too focused on drab medieval nonsense.
Tamriel is literally jam packed with outrageous fantasy of the most surreal variety. The devs may use the author bias garbage to justify lazy architectural design, but at least they acknowledge the wonderfully outlandish fantasy with some of their creature design.

The Indriks are some of the coolest looking creatures in the game, and I for one cannot wait to get my very own to ride around on. I may actually use my mount more often once they are released, just to hang with my magical unicorn elk peacock friend.

Its weird all these people that play fantasy gaming and expect only realism ... Its a fantasy game full of magical beasts and sorcerers

Yet they expect earth based lore... :#

And players are already riding flaming horses, panthers and lions, steam-punk robots, lava golems, ghost horses, reanimated skeletons and more.

Although actually the sheer variety of mounts now in the game helps with that. When the crown store was first added it seemed like every other person was riding the Nightmare Courser. Now they're a lot rarer, and the same goes for all the other fantastical mounts except maybe whichever is the newest one. There's a lot of mounts around that aren't just the defaults or the ones that look like realistic animals, but it's rare to see lots of the same one together.

Some of them are immersion breaking in the sense that they just wouldn't work. Flame Atronachs all cause fire damage to anything close enough (and there's a hilarious book in ESO about the problems that caused in Coldharbour until they were replaced with the Cold Flame variant). So sitting on one should mean burning to death, but somehow players are all unaffected by them.

Personally I like the explanation that all the mounts which either aren't mentioned in lore or which are physically impossible/incredibly impractical, are actually illusions. People in real life will dress up, paint and even dye their horses (using human hair dye, not fabric dye). I have absolutely no doubt that if they could some people would add magical effects to their horse too and people in ESO absolutely can do that, so why wouldn't they?

(Although with the atronachs it could be something more elaborate. Oblivion has been shown to have hundreds, if not thousands, of realms with many, many variations on a theme. Maybe someone, somewhere discovered atronachs that just look like they're on fire but don't actually burn. But like I said without the lore I prefer a simple explanation.)

^^^ thanks for that, I hardly ever read the books in game, maybe due to the font or layout, maybe just because I'm usually doing other things.
But reading the one linked, in that format was really interesting..

I don't think they'd be so mean as to make those Crown Crate mounts. I mean they're Indriks, not some sort of weird supernatural variant critter. Would they? Please someone reassure me they aren't that cruel. And dumb, considering how many of us want them badly enough to spend money immediately on them. I would pay 5000 crowns for that without batting an eye.

They did not list them as crown crate loot. My guess is either July/August crown showcase. But all evidence so far points to direct crown purchases. Probably 3k-5k

Clearly the radiant looking one is based off of the World Boss Caanerin (spelling?) and the green one are like the normal wild ones you can see. Idk which one I like/want more.

I'll never understand all the people that complain about a fantasy game having too much actual fantasy y'all are so boring. I personally love these things and hope they release more stuff that's actually creative and interesting like these in the future, not just reskins of the same thing over and over. Will definitely be snatching up one as soon as they're available

Sometimes the objections makes sense. For example I find it quite strange that in a game where we spend so much of our time fighting against necromancers and it's made quite clear that most people are opposed to necromancy we can ride around on skeletal or zombie mounts and no one thinks anything of it. A redguard riding through Sentinel on a zombie horse should count themselves lucky if they're just exiled from Hammerfell. But instead none of the NPCs will care at all.

But then you can also walk around town as a vampire or werewolf and no one reacts to that either.
