I was really interested in trying this, however, the one thing I was wondering about is how to remove it if is something I decided it wasn't to my tastes.
In the installation video, it just showed it overwriting files but no instructions on which specific files to back up just in case.

There should not be any files overwritten when installing the Reshade, it should all be additional files. At least that was how it was for me, although I haven't installed a new Reshade version in a long time, so my version is probably an older one. Therefore I don't know if there has been changes that now require overwriting things?
But in any case if you want to back up, you should simply backup all the loose files in the client folder (...\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client). Don't back up the folders in there, just all the files in client. That way if you want to revert you should be able to just copy them back in (of course if ESO gets updated in between you will have to do a repair to have the latest updated files redownloaded).

This style may not be for everybody's taste, but I really like it. Also excuse the low fps, I have an aging gtx690https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otKr5pAhozM&feature=youtu.be

Omg, this is stunning! Could I trouble you for the preset? I'd love to try it out.

I originally, long back, started out with Xerrok's ESO preset; but I changed a lot of values etc so it's not much left visually from that. (the Xerrok's version I started out with can be found here: https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/7089/)
INSTALLATION:
1. Run the ReShade 3.0.7 setup (https://reshade.me/downloads/ReShade_Setup_3.0.7.exe)
2. Select game -> eso64.exe
3. Check 'Direct3D 10+'
4. Click on 'yes' when you're asked to download and install a collection of standard effects
5. Download my tweaked preset from here: Dropbox link to my files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1vqfxybm6unaokr/jayman1000 reshadeini + shaders.zip?dl=0)
6. Unpack to your client folder
7. Ingame press Shift + F2 and select jayman1000.ini
Note that there's newer versions of Reshade which you can find here: https://reshade.me but I do not know if newer versions work well with my edited presets. 3.0.7 is the version I use to get the effects in the video. I also changed some code in some of the shaders, so that is why I am including them (unfortunately I cannot remember where I changed what!)

Thank you!! Are you running ESO on Steam by any chance? I have a non-Steam version of ESO and I remember in 2016 having to do some wonky edits to the Reshade files in order to make them work nicely with ESO (for example changing the extensions from .fx to .reshade) but I noticed in your Dropbox file that your Reshade files are the standard .fx. If Reshade works out of the box with ESO nowadays I'll totally install the latest version of Reshade to make this work.
Are these even allowed?
That said not to incite anyone but i'm not seeing a huge difference other than lower lighting?
I really like it, could you post some other more 'colorful' zones?
This is the best reshade by far - I've tried them all

I tend to make mine pretty colorful, but I love it. I don't enjoy playing as much without it anymore. So worth the time it takes to get it just where you want it.
