Anybody find a work around for login issues through Steam?

The title says it all, me and my family couldn't login pretty much all day. Any word on a workaround or fix?

There is only a fix for people who bought the game from Steam before December 2016, they can log in manually thus bypassing the auto-login system.

There is no fix, no workaround, no option to unlink and ZOS have made no statement suggestion they are even looking into one.
